Yeah computing has been disc less for more than a decade. Idk why console gamers are so stubborn and holding onto physical discs.

You don't see people complaining about laptops not have disc drives anymore
Because you can trade, share, and sell the discs. Digital they have you locked in to their system and whims.

It show's that I'm eligible for the 15% discount but when I add the Xbox and game to the cart it's only showing the discount on the game. Even when I click on checkout the discount is not there. What gives?

Same here. How are people getting 15%?
Check your target circle offers. I thought I didn't have it too, then I looked and the reason I didn't have it was because I had one for 20%.

I also had an offer for $10 in target inner circle points when you spend $45 or more, be sure to add that too if you have it.

So we're just going to post everything you can buy with the YMMV Target 15% off a single purchase coupon?
This is an especially good deal for something you usually can't use coupons for so I don't mind.

That said, is there a trick to getting the 15? I don't see it anywhere nor do I have a better offer for 20% or even one for 10.

There's like a million offers. Mostly specific to products. How do 15 & 20% look like

Ofc now that I decided on PS5 instead (for the exclusives), there isn't a deal to be had…

2020 is 3 years ago. Of course 2020 was Covid. Now? It's def not Covid, since that's over.
Consumer behavior has changed, what's difficult to understand

I had a 20% coupon. After returning the free game, my total with tax was $356. Really good deal...You don't get full value when returning the free game due to the discounts. I think the refund for the free game was right at $50.
So we can return the free game for a refund? I had the 20% off coupon and picked up the Xbox and the new Harry Potter game. I wasn't aware we could return the game for an additional refund. Is anyone else here returning their free game? If so, what kind of refund value are you getting?

Yeah when you pay $60-70 for a game, then maybe only play it for a short time, makes it sting a lot less when you can recoup some of that money through selling it used. Also, buying used games is a great way to game for cheap…

There is something to be said about owning physical things that one has paid for.

But I get you wouldn't understand that considering this generation is completely okay with spending their hard earned money on a character skin that nobody cares about and will be forgotten once they release a new version of that game

Did you cancel the game or return after the fact?
Return… in my case it was actually about $55 before tax for the return… so system was effectively $380+tax.

Because I would like to sell my games, would like to play a game without internet, would like to own my games forever without having them removed (like they did with movies). You do not own digital games they can be removed.

My total after 15% Circle discount + 5% Red card discount + tax came out to $430.49.

After canceling the game online, my total came out to $377.62 so canceling the game gave me back $52.87.

Got this deal. Also had a Circle offer for $10 back on $65 purchase. Combined with red card 5% back, price was pretty close to $400 before tax for XSX and Starfield. Debating keeping it though.
