When and where? I've never seen it new for less than the current $2001 at Amazon (which started today). Best Buy has had open box units for under $1800 though.

Amazon price has dropped to $1998 and now it's available from a 3rd party seller for $1800 (AIAUSA - never heard of them).

Ope! I got this confused with the Hisense U8K which I've also been following, but mainly for the 100".
The $1799 price is from a 3rd party seller, AIAUSA. I've never heard of them, and a lot of their feedback is for toothpaste and creams... Not really someone I'd buy a TV from...
