You're talking about the membership, different thing. The warranty through Geek Squad is $170 for 4 years, no yearly re-up or anything.

Deal is still live technically for Best Buy members. I got mine for $999 instead of $1099. Best Buy geek squad warranty seems better than others available which is why I chose Best Buy over Amazon.
