I bought this the last time it went on sale. the power board died and was literally shooting sparks. Contacted samsung to return it on day 14 as it was in policy.
Denied a refund, repaired under warranty but not without samsung making two different attempts because the techs were sent the wrong component to repair.
After the monitor spent a week not work we escalated to there legal team and they just said "you should have read the terms an conditions LOL".
So my girlfriend and I have decided to NEVER buy samsung ever again.
It's an absolutely gorgeous monitor but there's definitely a dice roll on the quality control. Both my girlfriend and I got one during the sales around Prime Day, from MicroCenter and Samsung EPP as separate purchases. Mine worked fine, but hers would not recognize any inputs and ended up needing to be replaced for a new unit. The price is worth it, but if you buy one, figure out how to spring for some sort of warranty coverage for it if you can.
