It ends and you use another 3 month sim. Port your number to google voice, get a fake new number with this sim and forward your calls to this new number from google voice. Rinse and repeat every new sim and you will be able to take advantage of ANY prepaid deal promotion from any prepaid carrier forever

If my number and device (iPhone 14, eSim only, no physical sim) was on Mint but ported out to another provider 45 days ago, would I be able to come back and get this Mint deal as a new customer (with the same device and number)? Thank you.
Yes, you should be able to based on my experience last year

Edit: just use a different email address to activate the sim/service.

Has anyone bought this after using their 10% Target Circle coupon? How much did it take off for you? Was it 10% of the cost of the sim AFTER deducting the value of the Target gift card? That's what I see which does not make sense. It should deduct the 10% at the face value of the sim card's value period.

Target considers the sim card value minus the gift card amount when calculating the discount using the coupon. That is because they charge for the gift card and defuct that amount off the actual item you are buying, so in essence you cannot simply keep a free gift card and return the item for full value.

Regarding going back to Mint, while I cannot recall the exact number of days I ported out from Mint to another carrier for, I do recall it was not a long time. And I used a different email address to activate the new sim. And the kicker is the other carrier was also a part of the Mint family. I just cannot recall their name. And for eSIM I'm sure Mint will have some info on their website. Check out their FAQ section. Hope this information is somewhat helpful.
Previously, you could bypass the IMEI check by activating the sim on their website (vs app). Choose the option to provide your phone's make/model (or any approximate, doesn't really matter). I assume it's still there. Mint rolled out the IMEI check a few years ago and only strictly enforced it that season as I recall. More of a soft restriction now I think. Also, no need to use multiple CCs or email addresses, Mint doesn't care.

Thanks.
Just to make sure I understand - I need to have the Google Voice app installed on the phone I am forwarding the Google Voice number to?
On that phone, can I use both its "native" number and the Google Voice number to make/receive calls and texts? (From your and others comments, I understand that some institutions may somehow detect that my number is a Google Voice number and then, therefore, not use it.)
That is correct, it is an app you install on the phone. That means you can have both numbers at the same time. For android anyways, you can specify which number is your default for calls using the system dialer. Text messaging to your main number (not google #) would only use the default built-in app.

Do you guys think a deal like this one that Mint/Google Pixel had may come around again? Or something similar to it with a new phone? Everyone who wanted that phone and not the mint service, just sold their Mint sim activation card that came with that phone that had the 12 month plan on it for cheap on eBay. I was able to get an entire YEAR of mint service for under $50 by just buying that sim activation card. I have service until April, but will be looking for a new deal then with them. Is it best to just wait and see what happens then?
I'm hoping they offer a similar deal for Black Friday as I need a new phone.

Metro PCS offers great deals from time to time.
Free phone with 1 month service ($40).
That's how I got my moto g-stylus 5g last year. (Android 12 with free update to android 13)

Should be noted that there's a 180 day wait before unlocking. I'm fine with that but others may not be.

Yup, I accidentally did this over a year ago, bought 3 months on sale at best buy, and activated after Black Friday and got the bonus 3 months added on also....so sweet.
Was that a 5GB plan or a 15GB one?

Picked up the 15gb plan and will wait to activate when the buy three get three is (hopefully) offered again. I had the 10% electronics offer. It reduced the amount by the $30 gift card so it took off $3 instead of $6. With tax, it was pennies less than $60.

Thanks for your reply! Rep'ed! I hope different email and cc will work and that Mint will help with the activation from the SIM card kit bought from Target for my device that has no sim tray.

Thank you for the info! On that page, it says 11/14/22 - 1/15/23. So was that the promotion from last year's BF?
