If Best Buy through in 1 extra year warranty it would be worth it. But to spend $50 on the membership just to save $50 kind of defeats the purpose. Unless you are buying several Macs.

People with Extended warranty coverage provided by credit cards can be benefited.

They only released the M3 for the Pro. The M2 more than enough for the Air. If you have the M1, there's no reason to upgrade to this unless you want the larger screen.

It's currently $1049 but there is a $50 discount if you buy online above $500 on Thanksgiving

But then you basically get a free membership which means super long return windows and better pricing on tons of other products. Kind of a no-brainer if you buy more than a couple tech products a year.
