A2 is 60hz. This goes up to 138 I believe. It also has display port and ambient backlight. No tuner so it lacks any built in "smart tv" stuff. You could always just use a fire stick I guess.

This or a 48" C3 for a work monitor and occasional gaming? I know this has less of a glare. Yes, I am aware the C3 is a couple hundred dollars more. If you were not worried about the price difference which one would you get?

According to rtings, C3 is better for monitor use. This supports DisplayPort and has a matte screen, if those two features matter to you.

Does the idea of needing to turn the monitor on every time you use it bother you? Sleep To Wake doesn't exist with the C3, it does for this one.

nah, you can fix that with LG TV Companion, this one is essentially a C1 with display port

I owned this monitor and do wish it was smaller. 42 is the sweet spot for me. I upgraded my desk and it helped, I'd recommend at least 30 inches of depth. I still love this thing, just with a 42" version existed that was matte. The Asus one is known to have lots of problems Frown

I bought this for fairly cheap. Not exactly 30 inches in the center but an improvement over what I had
