Just ordered. I have the service already in Los Angeles for $40 a month - and it works great! A T-Mobile rep said I could get this deal for $30 a month with the TV. All I have to do is add a new home internet line and once I get the new modem/router then I suspend my old $40 a month home internet line for 90 days, which costs $10 to suspend. Then, after the 90 days, I can cancel my old line. But that locks me into $30 a month for life with this new line of home internet service and I get the TV! Hope that helps others who already have this internet service.

I have tmobile home internet because I can't get fiber/cable where I live. If you live out in the country like me, its amazing sompared to the other options. I regularly get 300mbps down. It also regularly slows down significantly, sometimes under 20mbps, and the tmobile unit regularly crashes and has to be restarted. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has access to cable/fiber at their address unless they already have a tmobile cell line and really need that $30 rate over reliable internet. The issue isn't average overall speed, its reliability of both the hardware and speed at a particular time. Also there are weird quirks like it gives me an IP address a thousand miles away.

I tried this service around 6 months ago. Speed was horrifically bad and unreliable in my area. My phone service has the same slow speed too. But a few blocks away there's a good signal.

Not seeing a $30 option. Just $50.

It boggles my mind when people think loyalty gets them anything. You've been happily paying them for 15 years, why would they cater to you?
Going on 24.

Adding a data point. I have One plan military and was able to order for 30$.. currently paying 50$..

How long is it taking others to get the line number so we can submit the promo for the tv?
Just need some clarification. Do you already have T-Mobile Internet at $50 and just ordered another line at $30?

If so, is there a penalty for canceling the old one?

You should be fine. I placed my order Friday morning and the line showed up for me today.
I interpreted the promotion wording to mean that you need to submit an order for a new home internet line by 11/29 and then you have 30 days after that to submit for the tv.

Does anyone know how they determine the date? Promo terms states "Activate qualifying new Home Internet line between 11/24 and 11/29". Is that when order is placed online? When you turn it on?

I'd love to know how they calculate eligible addresses. We have 5g here, but every promo I check and they don't offer the home Internet at my service location.
I checked all of them and some said yes and some on. Them I got a weird one that said yes and to sign up and then a few hours later I checked and it said no. Thought it was weird so I opened different browser and it worked! Try using a different browser search engine.

Last month I checked in store Tmobile and they wanted $50 for the internet box because I am on a 55+ plan and said only the Go5G plans were $30 with autopay - strange since it was offered to me at the very beginning (last year?) for $30 as intro offer available to all Tmobile customers. So I said pass...

Today, for fun, I clicked on the Tmobile link the OP provided, entered my log in info and confirmed my address and it approved my $30 monthly fee after 14 trial days, free shipment of the box and (I assume) a free 50" TV. What a difference a month makes!

Which 55+ plan do you have? Will this promo work for Essentials 55?

Correct, just ordered another line.. from my understanding, wait 60 days before canceling the original.

I already have tmobileisp @ $50. I do not have phone service with postpaid T-Mobile (using metro $25 plan). I want to switch to a new modem anyways because I'm still using the old trashcan that likes to overheat and starting to give problems. If I sign up again obviously at the $50 rate can I still take advantage of the free TV? I am also getting the targeted $150 back emails for signing up.

So yes you would qualify for new line with internet. Which allows you to get tv promo. I have 2 different internet lines until I can swap my external antenna. (4 days currently)
