This should allow buyers to receive the official 1 year warranty direct from Apple for their refurbished products.
I plan to confirm and give Apple support a call to reset/adjust the purchase date for the warranty once my unit arrives (tomorrow).

The 1 TB model for $100 more is currently out of stock but has been going in and out of stock for those interested.

Confirmed my MBP arrived in the official sealed "Apple Certified Refurbished" packaging.

Confirmed I was able to get my purchase date adjusted for the 1-year limited warranty from Apple. Elgible for AppleCare as well.

It's $1,350 for that 1TB one at Micro Center. Better deal for it there if folks can drive to one.

Woot deal is sold out anyways so this is the next best.
I think it would not be much of a difference as this is a refurbished unit, thus, there wouldn't be any CC extended warranty insurance as with the non-refurbished units.
