The 7700 has 14% more compute units, boosts to a higher speed, and has faster ram. Theoretically it should be faster than that... but it would need more power than the 7600, and if they have the same cooling hardware that won't be possible, since the 7600 version is already at the limit.
The bigger GPUs have better speed/W generally. 4070 is better than 4060 which is better than 4050 in efficiency. And they are all more efficient at lower wattage than higher.

- It seems like the i7-13th gen tested a bit better than the Ryzen 7 7735HS in performance acrossed the board by atleast +25% or more in the benchmarks.
- The Tuf A16 can run popular games at 35 to 48% higher FPS; 15.6 TFLOPS vs. The RTX 4050 on the Acer, at 9.5 TFLOPS

Even though I don't know much about tech specs I think that maybe I understand your previous post about performance and throttling with the Tuf A16.. The CPU and GPU pairing aren't the greatest?
I watched a video with a tech guy saying that he didn't know why TUF chose that this year... annoyed, like maybe that kept it from being an S-tier budget entry to mid-level gaming laptop. He preferred the TUF A15 from last year.
I also think that it's possible that the guy was shilling the LOQ 15&16 as he had GLOWING reviews for it and heralded it as the budget gaming laptop of 2023. (Although Lenovo in general has done well.)
Per the BestBuy customer reviews the TUF A16 seemed to have some display and technical issues, some of it has been referenced here already.
I'm not quite sure if those users were allowing Windows to chose certain settings over Armory Crate or not.
I don't have a Cosco membership.
Though I was interested..and almost bought the Tuf A16 on Black Friday.

I like to fiddle with performance. I got >10% GPU boost and I think >25% CPU boost out of my GE75 Raider by undervolting and overclocking, using Throttlestop and Afterburner. I was able to do this and stay away from thermal and power throttling limits too, unlike the stock configuration. The 7735HS can't be UV and OC, but you might be able to adjust its behavior in other ways. The 7600S can be UV and OC. Surely someone who has the laptop has tried to tweak it to maximize performance, but I haven't seen anything posted online.

A laptop on the go depends on individual preference.

Having a combined power limit is weird isn't it? I know my MSI isn't like that. The GPU and CPU have independent limits.
Generally I don't like being power or temperature limited because it tends to cause glitches. The CPU can't be undervolted unfortunately, but Afterburner should work fine on the GPU. I haven't seen anyone try UC and OC though.

There was another 16" lenovo on the other display and that appeared to have a better build (and screen).
I'm getting this for my soon-to-start-college son whos converted from console to PC recently so I wanted something he can use for both gaming and for classes.
But at this point, I'm gonna hold out ...BB had tons of 16" laptops which appeared to have better builds than this btw.
I mean if ya are desparete for a decent gaming laptop without breaking the bank, go for this. If not, just wait it out early next year as i reckon there'll be even newer tech and cheaper prices.
