Why do people say it's not a deal, random guess some lower value but don't bother to post a link to such a "deal"? If this name-brand prebuilt PC should be under $800 then LINK IT to an exact spec unit that is name-brand prebuilt in stock for delivery for under $800!

4.7 (out of 5.0) average review with 77 reviews on Best Buy doesn't sound horrible.

Worse, it's the 8GB 4060Ti. Really, that should knock it down to under $800

The 4060ti is on par with a 3070 which was my baseline last year and not much has changed.

is this better deal?
Not if you play games. 4060ti is about 20% better than the 4060.

I think the $900 CyberPowerPc system at Costco is a better deal. It's very nearly similar in specs.
Not similar. Costco is 4060, not 4060 Ti. And only 8 GB RAM, this one has 16

Compared to what? Where's your deal for a better system for the same price or an equivalent system at a lower price? Waiting...
Compared to what?? What are you talking about? Instead of "waiting..." try reading. I was replying to someone that said there were no shortcomings with four listed shortcomings. Whether you agree with them or not.

As for a better deal... I never claimed there were any. Just because I don't think it is a great price, doesn't mean there are necessarily any better at the moment.

(EDIT: Linked another SD post that I'd consider a better deal, but turns out it's sold out at the moment, so no point.)

Pretty sure previous ones were air cooled.

the whole rtx 4060 ti is controversial cause the success of the 3060ti isnt the same as the 4060ti; its not an improvement and they charge the same price; its not the bulk of the cost of the system; if they put the 3060ti in this it would cost cheaper and perform better; only thing it has is better 13th gen processor and frame gen capable which is a stretch; rtx 4070 is the start of where you should be using 1440p and ray tracing and these are going to be superceeded by the rtx super series that will push the stack downwards and make rtx 4070 into the mainstream $500 rtx ai card which is what they want not a $400 midtier card

memory bus will kill your dreams on making this compete with AMDs 1440p and 4k cards in the medium term; vram just isnt enough by just doubling it and they knew that and slapped a $100 on it to fool people

The basic Dell combo is simply not worthy of this pc

This isn't even close to hot. Black Friday I got a R16 with a 13900F and RTX 4080 for $1400 after stacking amex offers, cash back. Only came with 16gb of ram so I had to upgrade that out of pocket.

I can read and write just fine. See the bolded part I quoted of your post? The part where you said the price wasn't great? That. The price wasn't great compared to what? I was curious where there was an equivalent system for a lower price? But you couldn't provide that so I'll still be waiting...

Good for you. Where's your time machine so we can go back to Black Friday? Almost every BF deal is better than the rest of the year. So does every deal from now until next BF suck because it's not as good as BF? We won't even talk about some random stacking of cashback, amex stacking and various other ways to bring the price down that are highly YMMV...

Is this the best deal of the year!?

Also would this play - StarCraft II on full graphics? That's the ONLY game I care about!
