So this is just the normal films on a blu ray disc? I noticed there's another version called the 4k ultra hd version with 8 movies.

The 4k varies from about $88-100 currently across Amazon, BB, Target, Walmart, etc. It was the lowest price at $60 for Black Friday.

Yeah it's crazy how much of a price difference the 4k is when they're just loading more data up onto the same blu rays. I made the mistake of buying the non 4k version of alien 6 movie bundle earlier, but I may end up keeping it upon knowing the cost difference is significant. I really wanted to test out my new 4k blu ray player sometime. Now that physical media is dying out and certain stores won't even carry the discs next year I thought this stuff would be cheaper by now and on clearance sale.

Yeah, I, too, just picked up the Alien 6 movie Bluray set for $20 from Walmart and I was able to get it at my local store curbside pickup. (Oddly, had to both provide my DOB and sign for it, but didn't have to actually show ID. He said its for R rated movies and some OTC meds. Maybe its a brick n mortar store policy. I've never had to do anything like that for online orders and curbside is an online order!)

I only recently starting building both a physical and digital video library so I spend some time just familiarizing myself with prices and stuff, generally. I actually didn't have enough interest in the Harry Potter films to buy this set but I'm a BIG Alien franchise fan.

I caught the Alien 6 film set digitally on a sale awhile back but wanted them on disc. I also have Alien on 4k BD. Aliens 4K BD comes out in March I think. Mostly I pay $5 or less for digital copies and $10 for 4k BD's. Come March when James Cameron's Aliens 4k BD hits, Alien, Aliens, Alien Covenant & Prometheus will all be in 4k on disc but Aliens 3 & Alien Resurrection will not.
