If the screen were 4-500 nits, QHD, OLED or some other hook to the system worth it over its siblings from the TUF line that have either a 4070 for $20 less or a 4060 for $250 less, I would jump on it. I guess this is a more premium build..

TUF line has a numpad causing the keyboard to be offset and nonsymmetrical and is ugly as sin. I have an older gen M16 and it's a lot more premium. There is a reason all Apple laptops also don't have numpads.

You do understand that the 4060 is not a 1440p card, correct?

How does it compare to the Legion 5 Pro at Microcenter [microcenter.com]
I heard Asus has huge QC issues. Some devices overheats and also has cable winding noise.

Ah yes I care how the laptop looks not how it performs. At that point the G14 with 1650 has been on sale for far cheaper while omitting the numpad and keeping the premium design...

No numpad is a hard pass for me. Some of us have to work.

Eh, youd be surprised. My victus has 1440p paired with it and it runs most major titles above 60 at 1440

It may be ok in some, but 8gb won't carry you very far into the future on 1440p. Also, one of the "tricks" games use when there isn't enough VRAM is to just delay (pop in) textures, or just load lower quality ones.

With that said, I wouldn't mind buying this laptop at all. That's a really solid deal.

Millions of people work just fine without numpads. Unless you're in a data entry/accounting job, numpad is irrelevant.
