The regular Galaxy Tab S9 (non-FE) versions are OLED.
The S7 FE trade in value is $300.00, which got me excited for an $84.99 tablet until I got to checkout and Samsung is taking the 30% off deal for this tablet off the price AFTER trade in value, so the 30% off changes from $165 off to only $75 off, bringing my total to 174.99 plus tax after trade in.
S7+ to S9+ at bargain or low cost maybe yes but S9 FE is not AMOLED but S7+ is AMOLeD

Think twice before buying this and if you're really going to use it. I bought the S7+ and the red Chromebook with the i5 processor a few years ago and have hardly touched either as my phone does 95% if what I need. SDs has that affect on me and many others. I have a hard time passing up on a good deal and buy it and never use it. First world problems…

That's still a pretty great deal. I might have to do it.

your concerns are warranted. I'm still on Tab S6 for screen, weight, comfort (smooth edges)
Basically me. I had the S7 and it was too heavy to use and the LCD sucked. The screen actually is very slow to react despite being 120hz. I found it just heavy enough that I never made use out of it. I switched to the S6 and it's much better for me even though I'm a sucker for high refresh rate.

Maybe if they make an S10 that's got a lower weight and OLED I'll upgrade, but honestly it's felt like a sidegrade every generation since the S6. The big OLED ones I'm sure look nice but will be too heavy to hold comfortably anywhere but sitting in a chair in front of a desk.

If it said $250 off and you got a screenshot chat or call Samsung. It's a pain but they will credit the difference once you get it. Their site does some funny math at checkout sometimes wrt discounts.

I wish this were the case, and maybe for some of you it has been, but I'm 0 for 2. Both times I tried this, after the fact they never honored the full amount they agreed to credit back.

I'm can't speak for others, but just warning that two times now, they have only fulfilled a partial amount of what they had promised originally.

Use my tab s9 all the time after getting rid of s8 ultra which was too unyielding.

Nevertheless, how many do we have that hardly use? Probably 80% or more. Meta Quest 3 last month and haven't touched it in 2 weeks nor do I want to. That is definitely being returned asap! Talk about great PR, but I simply don't want VR and if apple is banking on it for their next big thing, it won't be. Only when VR gets to be like glasses, will it have a good chance, until then, it's just a true toy. Facebook better have 100s of billions more or on the cusp if glasses, otherwise they ain't got a chance either. Unless wall street keeps financing them

We're not alone... if you google for 'galaxy tab s6 vs tab s9' the first hit is a reddit thread on just this issue. outside of "performance", which I have no issues with my s6, weight, perceived screen quality, and sharp edges are a recurring theme.

I want @Samsung to figure this out. I'd buy a power spec'd refreshed Tab S6.

Yeah basically nobody buys a tablet anymore. My Ipad from 2019 is going fine and I have one from 2016 upstairs. Havnt charged either since a summer road trip!

When i send in my trade-in, do they expect to receive the S-Pen and charger/block as well? I'm using my own charger now (lost the one that came with my S6 Lite) and I'd like to keep the S-Pen as a backup..

Only Tablet, can keep everything else. Just be sure you take some pictures/video of the device itself and the condition before sending it in.
