Brother printers are solid workhorse type printers. I have one 2270DW since last 6-7 years and it's still going strong. I got it for 50 bucks but it was pre COVID slickdeal.

Looking at the color laser printer option at Amazon - Brother MFC-L3720CDW for $399 with $100 promo credit. Does anyone know if color toner is too expensive? Never had a laser printer before at home.

Dang, Between the manual, the brother setup video and that guys one, I was able to get it all working.

Does it connect to all other devices: Iphone, android, mac laptop?

If so it has to be a setting in Win 11 that is causing the problem. I am a pure apple guy so I will not be much help with microsoft. Sorry.

yes color laser toner is expensive. The problem with color printers is they are not cheap on supplies. My inkjet replacement inks cost nearly the same as buying a whole new printer. My workhorse 12x18 color thermal printer can cost $1000 when including all of the internal disposables.

This printer is very inexpensive (probably less then a penny per sheet). A B&W printer is for labels, quick prints, documents etc. I never use my color printer for anything but photos. It is worth it to have both.

Got my 2280DW 10 years ago on a staples deal I think. Workhorse, and has a scanner which I use, but sometimes their software can be a pain, like setting it up on a network with a pc

How is this a slickdeal? Im lost. Back when Target sold laser printers, I got a bunch of the 2270s on clearance at 70% off. I know theres no time machine to go back to that deal, but it feels like laser printers have not been discounted much since covid. What's the deal with that?

It works fine with my Android Tablet , Iphone ..just the win laptop is an issue. ( Heck,even USB and wired option works with Win m/c) ...Its ok , i will figure it out but thanks again !
