    I thought about unraid but it doesn't make sense until you pass 6 drives, if your 3 game drives are backed by a further 2 parity you may as well have just bought 3 sets pair mirror.

    I setup them up as raid0 (don't worry I do have backups) I get the speed around 250-350 MB/s fast enough for gamming. I have multiple users at home, and each share the same AIO games server.

    That review is on a much larger (newer?), 14 TB drive. Is there any reason to believe the 4 TB would perform as poorly? I only follow WD drives, and they have good, average, and poor performers across their capacities of Red Plus drives.

    I'm looking for 4 TB CMR options for under $80.
