The price was a bit lower also. Costco would put the then PLATINUM on sale for $15-$16 and the quantitiy was 96 in each container.
These PLATINUM PLUS pods don't clean any better than the PLATINUM pods did. It's just a way Proctor & Gamble to increase their stock value. The adding of the PLUS (what is it?)and LESS pods?!

Where it doesn't do as well is metal - things like stainless steel pans. I've been left with oily spots a few times now with powder where I've never had that issue with the pods. A little bar keeper's friend cleans it up instantly.
So I am kind of torn and I don't know what I will be doing going forward.

I know it defeats one of the main purpose of using pods, the convenience of not using powders or gels. However I do think there is a scientific reason why my method works, mainiy that the detergent in the main bin is high quality and doesn't degrade from moisture in the air. Obviously if you are getting acceptable results using only cheap powder then there is no point in these pods, but for me there is a signifigant difference.
