Just do the traditional setup especially if you live in a place with good yard sales/fb marketplace. You can get entire setups used for DIRT CHEAP especially these days - seems everyone is off loading something. It's not that big of a task.

I'd go that route vs spending $800 or so.

I got Q800C for 355$ with new 5% referral and EPP savings. Open box excellent 9500s for 85$ pre taxes. Total for Q800c and 9500s - 440$.

Thing 440$ for Q800C combo or 760$ for Q990C. How much would be the difference between these two for only movies and web series.

More than the 990C, the 910C is only $522.50 after discounts but it's 9.1.2 vs 11.1.4 and has wired rear speakers that don't upfire and a lower-end subwoofer.

Been reading reddit threads, a lot of people say the Q800C w/ 9500S rear speakers are good but the Q990C is "significantly" better still. I don't doubt their ears, but I just wonder how much of a difference for the money. Can't really review audio quality by watching YouTube videos heh.
