Try going into the picture settings and turn the black level up from the default of 50 by two or three ticks. That resolved the crushing for me when I got my G2. For reference I followed Classy Tech's settings guide which includes that recommendation:

Got mine for 2600 in May. It's not moving from my basement unless it breaks.

Holy smokes that's the absolute best pricing I've seen for C2. Makes me feel bad for paying $2900 2022 Black Friday

It looks available online. Possible to make the purchase online and have a local rep adjust?

I think the lowest so far I've seen on the 77" C3 was roughly $2,200. I imagine it will get to $2,000 soon at some point.
Been 2049 quite a bit. Woot had it new for 1400, couple places for 1899. Beach offered me a new 77 c3 with 3 year plan for 2200. Prices are just reinflated after xmas. SHould be down soon.

At like twice the cost, lol... I don't think MLA is worth twice the price.

Very similar, but the increased brightness and appearance of the G2 are what put it above the C3

LG G2 OLED vs LG C3 OLED [rtings.com]

IDK why this deal isn't getting as much love considering it beats the current FP deal by $165

I was really torn between this and the S89C for $2K but after all my research, I landed on this set over the S89 from Samsung.
The c3 wins in every one of the comparison sections. Slight brighter, which only matters in a bright room. The G3 has the stupid fixed wall mount and bad cable routing, worse viewing angle, worse reflections, and a thicker bezel also. They are close tho, but still would go c3 considering same price and sometimes c3 is lower

Your points are valid. It did better but really the same 9.7 vs 9.8 type of better though lol. For me, it's going in a bright room next to a window and I like the uniform thickness vs the super thin and bulky back end. I already have a wall mount with an articulating arm I'm putting it on.

Any insight if the OLED 77 C3 will be marked down in the next few weeks? Doesn't look like much difference between C3 and G2.

Walmart has C3 77" for $2050 today via beach audio. Given the better CPU, I'd go with the C3 unless you want that flush mount.

Personally I'm going to wait for the G3 to start pricing around $2400 or so. OLED sales are down overall and I expect the same pattern of descending prices next year. That MLA stuff is a great addition.
