SlickdealsForumsHot DealsCostco members: Samsung 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door SS Refrigerator with FlexZone Drawer. Free delivery/install/haul $999.99
Costco dropped their Samsung 28cu. ft. 4 door flex temp drawer (beverage drawer) refrigerator to $999.99. Comes with free delivery/basic install/haul away. 3 year Allstate coverage (making 5 years total) is only $89. Should keep them busy with the external ice dispenser design flaw on all of these.
model: RF28R7201SR
Stainless steel is the one dropped to $999.99. Black stainless is still at their 1299.97 clearance price.
Caution: for those who haven't had to shop for a refrigerator in a long while. French door models with ice dispensers on the door are notorious for mechanical problems. Ice compartments battle to maintain freezing temperatures in higher temperature refrigerated sections causing melted-ice puddles on the floor and failed ice dispensing units. This is true of all manufacturers. Many French door models offer internal water dispensers or "beverage centers" and an ice maker in the lower freezer section (where it makes sense). Cheers!
Looks like a solid deal but its sammy….
No to Samsung fridges

As a Samsung Refrigerator owner, I know how crappy they are, but, even though I hate being the one to have to tell you this, but none of the name brands make decent refrigerators now.
This is all I hear nowadays. Some manufacturers share compressors and such. 5-10 year life expectancy is what it is now unless buying high end appliances.
Through Costco. Please search for item # 1051899 and add this to cart. You have until 90 days to buy the Allstate warranty after buying the appliance. Enjoy.
What happened to the 5 yr warranty option? You could get them thru 2023? Did they finally realize they were loosing money on these warranties after 3 yrs? It looks now like then3 ye sell for about what 5 yr was at end of 2023.
I snagged this fridge from Costco, and I like it, BUT there was a minor physical defect due to delivery and it took them MONTHS to get it resolved, probably the most frustrating repair experience I have had with a brand-new appliance.
You do realize you could have just called Costco and ask for about 10% off for the inconvenience of getting a damage product right??? If your desire was to get something brand new then yeah I guess you have to wait for logistics. But what's better hundred bucks off or you're perfectly pristine fridge?

By default, Costco comes with a 2-year warranty. These fridges come with a 5-year sealed system labor warranty and a 10-year parts compressor warranty for the inverter.

How bold of you to assume that I did not, next time you MAY wanna form that one as a question, scooter. Since you did inquire, they offered a pittance. Plus, it would have taken a haul to be worth it to me as I purchased a new fridge and wanted a new fridge - I would have got a scratch-and-dent if that was what I wanted.
This is good to know, I had no idea this was a thing! I have two LG French door fridges in each kitchen with ice dispensers on the doors that have worked perfect for 7 years but if one ever breaks I'll keep this in mind for the replacement. I've loved the convenience of having a dispenser on the door but if this is a known issue, I'll be sure to avoid in the future and look for fridges with internal dispensers.

Dang, I only have one in each of my 27 kitchens.
