Got my TV today as well! Initial conclusions are very positive. I'm impressed with the black levels, color, and motion handling. Absolutely love the snappy Google TV interface and remote as well. It definitely is a step down from my 77" OLED in terms of overall picture quality but isn't as large as you may assume. I can't wait to play around with it more!

What lights do you use behind the TV? Do you really find the lights enhance the viewing experience?

I now avoid the Smart TV issues, and I'm using a Fire TV stick. Alternatively, you can use an Apple TV, Roku all an Android box. All will give you better performance. I will check out the Google UI and then switch to one of these if performance sucks.
This. I just had a factory reset Amazon TV that was a complete brick until I bought an official Insignia replacement remote for $34 since cheap knockoffs couldn't do the initial pairing. That's right, I couldn't even use any of the HDMI inputs until I bought one specific expensive remote. Dumb TV's FTW.

My old tv mount is rated 150lbs. Would you suggest that I upgrade to higher weight rated one?

Looks fantastic! Look forward to hearing more about it, once messed with. What mount did you use by the way? Having trouble tracking one down, that won't take weeks to get to me.

Dude I don't know how you are impressed with the motion handling. It's worse than my 2019 tcl 6 series.

on the avsforums people came to same conclusion with the 98 S5 and the supposedly superior QM8 which use the exact same processor. the upscaling was way better on the S5. the best guess is the processor is overwhelmed by too much technology such as local dimming etc. whereas the S5 doesn't have that so the processor can focus on upscaling.
It's so weird anybody that says something positive about the TCL gets downvoted.

I have some RGBIC Govee Wifi Light Strips. 32ft was the perfect size, I just stuck them on the perimeter of the back of the TV and wrapped the excess around on the inside of the back of the TV (you could cut them as well). For an additional 1% of the price of TV, I think it's certainly worth it and helps it stand off the dark grey wall I have it mounted on! Luckily my best buy installers were patient while I spent 10 minutes to stick them on before they lifted it up on the mount.

I think it's pretty decent once I turned off the terrible default setting! It's certainly not at the level of my OLED, but the 144hz native refresh rate is a big plus! No complaints here from me on motion!

This is the one I got from Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mount-.../199105790 - $40 and it worked great! Delivered in two days for me. The best buy installers did really have to crank down the little handles that prevent the TV from tilting, but it's been holding well the past day event with some pretty intense bass from my Samsung 950T soundbar and sub!

Do we have measurements for the mounting holes from top of Hisense TV yet? I'm finding it impossible to search this thread lol.

I just measured mine at 14" from the top mounting hole to the top of the TV bezel, might be off by half an inch either way, since it's hard to measure exactly when it's already mounted
