Queen Creek HD, got the saw for $219, but couldn't get the stand for free. One of the employees mentioned thy Ryobi promo ended on the 29th.

No biggie though, managed to cop a used Dewalt stand for $40.

Yeah it's on clearance. Check wherever your local home depot stashes all their clearance stuff and you can't miss it if it's there. Mine still had two or three left yesterday.

Can confirm at least three for sale at Burbank, CA store today. Shows $219 with $399 compare at (which makes you assume it's one of the kits) but part number is of the saw that sells for $349 online. Still a great deal if this saw solves your needs. They also had a Ridgid saw on clearance next to it but this one is better reviewed

This is an excellent deal. I also have the 7.25 slider and it is a toy. Poor construction, cheap parts, cant do much useful with it unless you want something ultraportable that can stand non-square cuts 2 degrees off. I also got the 10 inch slider with the stand and it is night and day. the 10 inch is a real mitre saw and has become my go to mitre saw. Its a bit heavy and so is the stand, but if you want a real mitre saw, get this. It works really well with the 4Ah HP battery, so getting that included is also a deal. I also have a dewalt 12" mitre saw that I use/need for precision crown moulding cuts but for everything else I use this one. Dont let your bad experience with the 7.25 affect getting this one. Its night and day.

Can you return the stand? I'm not necessarily trying to do the hack but I'm not interested in a heavy stand that doesn't have wheels
