89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

Does anyone that has had this tv for a few months now notice any burn in or dead pixels coming in? Wondering how long we can expect this TV to last visually without issues.

There is an open box one near me - debating if it would be worth it to go and try to negotiate them down to like $1400-1500 on the open box one.
At least around here they don't haggle open-box prices. Allegedly those prices are set by corporate and shy of labeling an item "Fair" instead of "Good", there's no way they can modify an open-box price.

If it's this vs. the LG G2 for $350 more, which is the better choice?
Hands down, This has the best image quality for the money.

LG has way better software though, and everything just works. Samsung makes you sweat and work that remote like crazy to get what you want. But damn it looks Great ! laugh out loud

I bought a 77 Samsung S90CD from Costco last month. It was a display model on the rack. It looked good and was assured no scratches are on it. I couldn't tell because the TV was on. They had it for $1500 and manager was able to lower to 1250 with the warranty. I purchased it and left to get a bigger vehicle. When I came to pick it up it was wrapped up in plastic. When I brought it home to set it up there's was 3 good scratched on on in the middle to upper of the screen. I called Costco and all they said was that I can return it. You cannot see the scratches when the tv is on. Debating if it worth it to return and pick this up instead.
For scratches you can't see when the TV is on I'd keep it for $550 less, plus tax makes it almost $600 saved. And extended warranty.

For everyone saying buying from Samsung is a pain in the butt, can't you just do pickup at a Best Buy? Doesn't that ease some of the inconveniences, even with returns?

Not always. Most bigger sets it's not available at least in my area. I have it ready for pickup now. I knew this set would hit $1800 sooner then later with SB. Doubtful it goes lower. But not sure if will fit in my suv so might have to wait until tomorrow for my brother in law and his pickup.

There was never been a 1500 s90c 77 inch. Even the one with the 200 Samsung voucher did not come down to 1500.

Not sure where you got that false info from
It did hit that price but it was before black friday and it was a very convoluted deal that you needed EPP and getting lucky talking to a rep to get additional discount and care+. That deal never got posted here on Slickdeals. It didn't last too much either as the EPP discount got turned off fairly quick.

2000 at Costco right now. In store.
Costco is very YMMV as only stores that have stock that isn't selling will drop it to that price. The lowest I have seen it at my nearby Costco's is $2300. All of them already sold out of all their units.

They have box dimensions on best buy's website. It's pretty big. Barely fit in our minivan.

It's not just the OS, the image settings are not intuitive and confusing. For example, it only supports 444 in pc mode, but only at specific refresh rates. If you run it at 23.976hz for movies, it will kick you out of 444 chroma. WHY do that samsung, it makes no sense. Then in PC mode you can't use all of the video modes. Weird stuff like this, still, it look so good, I'm not going to sweat it. The LG takes whatever, and it all just works, even roku-tv do everything right on inputs. laugh out loud

I've never had any issues but I don't hook up a PC to it. LG sort of sucks as at least Samsung discounts there top end stuff every year. You will never see a 75 LG C3 get near this price and from Rtings stand point the S90C was there TV of the year
