89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

For scratches you can't see when the TV is on I'd keep it for $550 less, plus tax makes it almost $600 saved. And extended warranty.
Sounds like this is the lowest price its going to go. Maybe if it was $1500 I'd return the one back to Costco and get this one. Thanks.

Can anyone here recommend a fixed wall mount for this? My friend is gonna get one tonight and I am going to help him mount it. I imagine any standard wall mount will work fine but I figured I would ask if there is one that is recommended.

Does anyone that has had this tv for a few months now notice any burn in or dead pixels coming in? Wondering how long we can expect this TV to last visually without issues.
If you have bought a recent oled in the past couple years, you will not be worried about burn in. Once you have them on idle they do pixel shifts, puts on a screensaver etc... So there is technology in the OLED tv's now that prevent burn in by default.

Started looking up calibration settings and became overwhelmed. Haven't bought a new TV in ten years. I just want something I can turn on and enjoy a nice picture. Can someone put my mind at ease and let me know it's not that complicated before I cancel my order?

I wouldn't sweat it. I'm not pedantic at all about it, and when I get a new set I'll typically follow settings from a well known source like Rtings.com. Then just tweak here and there according to my taste and room. Most of the time that is not a lot more than big things like brightness, contrast etc..

Check your return periods if you've bought this set recently. I just got $220 back going through Best Buy chat.

"The TV has good pre-calibration SDR accuracy. Still, dark scenes are way too dark, and there are some significant white balance accuracy issues throughout. The color temperature is a bit warm, meaning it leans towards red. The color accuracy is great, but there are minor accuracy issues throughout."

"After calibration, the Samsung S89C has fantastic accuracy, with no noticeable issues. Plus, it's relatively easy to calibrate.

You can see our full calibration settings here."

Received mine about 3 weeks ago.. really like it.

Read some reviewers saying to modify it since it was junk in way of settings out of the box.

Anyone have any ideas, without putting me thru to RTings to see what settings they used for best results?

As far as my settings go, i think it looks fine but figure it makes sense to ask since I dont ever use anything other than Dynamic since they all seem really dark.

Kind of sad I missed the LG c3 deal for $1299. Should I get this ? I haven't bought a TV in over 10 years and honestly I hear two sides. Either get LG c3 or s90 for best bang for your buck. Any thoughts before I just go with this ?

I have the S90C so not sure if the best settings are exactly the same but I did the calibration using my Samsung phone where you hold the phone up to the screen and it flashes different colored screens and it gave me a calibrated setting that seems like it would be good for movies. I actually liked the Rtings settings better for a lot of other content like sports since it's brighter.
