89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

Not sure. I just got the referral code from the 1st cashback site. Then went to Samsung.com, added the TV to my cart with EPP enabled, Care+ added, and Cashback from the 2nd site activated. I then applied the referral code from the 1st cashback site. Then I started a chat with a Rep, they sent a link to a checkout cart that had the care+ and 10% codes already applied. I copied those codes to the cart I already had opened and they stacked all the way through payment. I attached screenshots for reference. To see the screenshots you might have to switch to the old slickdeals.net forums mode. The new interface sometimes doesn't show them.

Good share here. I couldn't get them to stack and spent about 30 minutes screwing around with it and chatting. At that point once I was able to get it to work, I just went with it excluding the 5% referral code. Either way I still think its a better deal then Best Buy as you get the two year warranty. Install was going to be a fee for me so I am just going to put it on the wall myself. I actually think my existing mount holding my 65" KS8000 will work as it has a larger VESA mounting pattern then the S90c (400x400 vs 400x300).

You think an S89C will get cheaper then $1800 at Best Buy. I don't see it. This is their closeout. Samsung S90C will get cheaper then 2k without codes at Sammy very soon but no way the S89C drops lower

I don't think so. Even all the Costcos around me are sold out and that is at a current price point of $2300. If it gets cheaper at all, I doubt it will be very much.

Do you know which is the right length of the screws my 65 s95b used M8 screws but the mounting has 25 or 45 and I needed some length in the middle
The manual says M8x1.5 x 28-30mm + mounting bracket. If your mounting bracket is only 2mm, then a 30mm will work. Might be best to go 35mm and use washers if you have a thicker mounting bracket. I ordered M8x1.25 x 30 and going to pick them up on my way home from work to test. I read on reddit that the 30mm, one person didn't think the bolt went in deep enough with their thicker bracket, but their TV will stilling hanging there. Something between a 30-35mm and washers should do the trick.

No I agree that's why I was shocked someone would think these will drop lower then $1800 at BB. 100 percent the S90C will go lower with Samsung EPP within the next few weeks. I extended my pickup window for 2 weeks at Best buy to see if they actually do. Lol. Then if not I still have my S89C at $1800

Do you think EPP will get cheaper than current and 10% discount code? I am concerned they will run out of stock and this is bottom on this model. Again can't imagine either model going below roughly $1800 all in.

I do. I expect $1800 without any code which happens every year on the QN models and last year on the S95B. Crap I got an 65 inch S95B for 910 last year. S89C is th same TV so maybe do what I did and order one for pickup from Best Buy and then extend the pickup in case the S90C drops like it should.

I just paid 1862 with the two year warranty using EPP. I would rather pay a little more knowing they threw in the two year warranty. That price is here now effectively. Just need to get on chat to get the 10% off code and free two year warranty code.

The risks this year on waiting longer is that it might be harder to score one due low stock. Best Buy for sure is trying to clear the S89C stock and very very unlikely they will get more units. So if you wait it out there might be a risk all you will find are refurbs and open boxes for cheap. All my local Best Buys are out of S90Cs, S89Cs, and A95Ls at least 77in ones. All my nearby Costcos are the same thing, they sold out of all the C3s back in December and S90Cs in January. Asked the manager and said they are not restocking those C3s nor the S90Cs.

Given how the Black Friday OLED sales went I'm guessing this low stock is due to OEMs cutting back and being conservative. These OLEDs are now competing with 100in Hisense and TCLs that are cheaper and attracting more people, so if I were Sony, Sammy, or LG I would definitely be conservative on how many units I put out especially with the new models coming soon.

Cheapest I see these selling for brand new is $1500 but only very lucky few will managed to actually find stock to score that. Also keep in mind that at least the S90D doesn't have much improvement if any compared to the S90C. The G4 and C4 might be worth waiting for as those do offer some improvements. Sony already marketed their intent to focus on the Mini LED 4k nits tech instead of OLED, so they will very likely stick with the A95L this year or sell a new model with very minor improvements. All that just to say that there are more people in the market willing to buy a current OLED model than waiting for the next new models, so less probability of stock being left for clearances.

In my book it always better to wait it out, but considered that this year there is less likelyhood of there being overstock for deep discounts. And again the deep discounts might be on just open boxes or refurbs.

Yeah I went for the 83" knowing that there might be some wizardry that drops it cheaper but don't want to chance it.

My order last week of the 77" S90C still hasn't shipped yet, par for the course with Samsung, but I don't mind as I'm able to see if it gets cheaper while I still have the cancel button. I'm at $1,715 after tax with all Samsung discounts and cash back from CC, PP and a cash back site, so the savings would need to be significant for me to unwind and try to replicate. There's a chance they may not be so quick to offer the 10% and/or Care+ if it drops further. There must be a floor.

so you are saying it's $1862 with EPP now with no other codes? I thought it was still like 2049.

Yeah I agree with you. I guess when I say $1800 I mean just at purchase price. Not counting credit card points or Cash back sites. Mine claims it shipped already so not sure what the hold up is on yours. I seriously doubt it dips below $1800 and if so you might be the inventory game.

Don't do it. I tried that last year on a QN90B where it was like 1900 and I had codes to drop it to 1780 with codes and crap. Price dropped to $1800 and tried them to get all the same discounts and it was a diaster. They had me cancel the $1780 order and my total ended up being 1810 even with the lower $1800 starting point. Wasted hours trying to explain common sense and gave up and then cancelled the 2nd order.
