89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

Don't do it. I tried that last year on a QN90B where it was like 1900 and I had codes to drop it to 1780 with codes and crap. Price dropped to $1800 and tried them to get all the same discounts and it was a diaster. They had me cancel the $1780 order and my total ended up being 1810 even with the lower $1800 starting point. Wasted hours trying to explain common sense and gave up and then cancelled the 2nd order.
Yeah I'm a Samsung vet because the pricing can be so low, I'm a sucker. The more you have to involve their CS, the worse it gets.

so you are saying it's $1862 with EPP now with no other codes? I thought it was still like 2049.
I hear ya. To each is own. I don't trust Best Buy either. Even on the price adjustment someone on this thread just said they were unable to adjust the price even though it was within two weeks of purchasing. Again I think this is about bottom on the price. Best Buys two year warranty costs too much as well. When you factor that in the EPP deal is better but that is with the assumption you get good support from Samsung so I get it.

You aren't understanding. If the S90C goes cheaper then the S89C then I'll just cancel the Best Buy order and get the S90C from Samsung.

My question to you though is the EPP price at Samsung $1862 without any chat or code.

If they told me no I'd return it and buy a new one for $200 back from previous sale prices.

Ok Cool. Once it hits $1800. I'll start chatting.

That's a good price and it might not drop lower at EPP.

Good call. I think if it gets that low, I would be surprised if they offer 10% off. That seems to be hit or miss from what I read. Might be able combine the referral code though. I just got tired of screwing around.

Look good right out of the box or did you have to make a lot of adjustments to the settings? Mine is coming tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

I thought it looked good right out of the box. I put it on movie mode. I did some minor adjustments based on the following:

Is there any indication how long this price is good for?

I was in the same boat and I went with best Buy just because their warrnaty covered everyhting including Burn In . As per my research not many extended warranty plans including Samsung Care + cover burn in. I would love to be proven wrong here so that I can save some money.

I ended up buying the S89C with 5 year warrnaty from Best Buy.

Question - My delivery is due tomorrow , do I need to ask the delivery guy to wait while I open the box and inspect the TV inside or just an outside box inspection will be good enough. Bought a TV after 8 years ( super excited).

Good call and good luck with the new tv. Either way can't go wrong. This is definitely the tv to get this year and based on what I read, the s90d replacement model is only going to be a little brighter. I believe I heard it's the same panel so not going to be a big difference is my guess. As far as burn in goes, I am not worried about that. We stream from Apple TV so it has awesome screensavers and turns off the tv when not in use after 15 minutes. Hardly ever watch network tv.
