89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

Good call and good luck with the new tv. Either way can't go wrong. This is definitely the tv to get this year and based on what I read, the s90d replacement model is only going to be a little brighter. I believe I heard it's the same panel so not going to be a big difference is my guess. As far as burn in goes, I am not worried about that. We stream from Apple TV so it has awesome screensavers and turns off the tv when not in use after 15 minutes. Hardly ever watch network tv.
Nice! Does streaming from Apple TV also take care of stutter as many people have complained ?

Any other good 5 year warranties which you can advise cheaper than Best Buy then please let me know. Really did not want to pay $400 extra for warrantyFrown !

If you have EPP/EDU, 77 S90C should be $2,070. Ask the rep for 10% and potential 5% referal, you should be tad cheaper than $1,800. Plus potential free mounting and 2yr care offered by the rep.

If you are going thru perksatwork, there should also be 9x points, and that should be able to stack with other portals, plus Samsung rewards.
Did it go up in price? I see it at $2,299 with EPP

I still see it as $2,070, so you're either not on the EPP page or your company doesn't have the Samsung discount.

I'm not really talking about Samsung anything in fact many of these reviewers don't say this is the best tv they prefer the Sony qdoled and others that have Dolby vision. What I'm talking about specifically is that the lack of support for Dolby vision does not matter and no one without a side by side will notice or see a difference even when they see it they won't prefer the Dolby vision all the time.
Just a format. The content grading is much more important
You buy a tv to enjoy the image and trust me if u or anyone gets this tv dials it in and watches a movie they'll be too impressed they won't give a crap about Dolby vision.
Not to say the Dolby vision capable TVs are worse is just that it isn't a big dealll
Thanks

No idea as I don't have the tv yet but would assume so. Just hate all the built in streaming stuff on most of these TVs. Apple TV makes it easy for the family to use and just has everything in one spot. We hardly ever even switch inputs. Also no idea on the warranty.

On other note this video is more reason to jump. He makes solid points.

I cancelled my best buy order and went with the epp way you guys mentioned. I am both military and healthcare worker in my id.me. it seemed to be messing with the discount, it was prioritizing military, which did not give any discounts on the s90c.

I had to create a Samsung account and id.me account for my wife to get the whole thing to work.

Not sure, I've not mounted it yet, but did try prior to putting the leg/stands on it, but found that the screws were either too short or too long. The long ones required two spacers and a larger spacer, which pushed the bracket about an inch off the actual tv (not cool). Did some research online and found that others have encountered the same issue and that best thing to do was buy a kit online; wich I did. To answer your question, I imagine the answer is 'no, I will not need washers if I use the 30 or 35". i think the 25 that came with the mount was just a few threads short of reaching.. so imagine the 30 will work just fine and present no danger. If it doesn't screw enough after initially catching I'll go with the 35 and likely use one of the washers with the punch out centers.
https://www.autozone.com/nuts-bol...848429_0_0 - just installed these after work, can confirm a perfect fit. 30mm will be perfect in all scenarios except for the thickest bracket. This tv isn't going anywhere with these heavy duty bolts for $4.

Got mine today. Looks good, maybe too bright even.
I'm using the legs but I'm wondering if I should affix it to the wall. Is there a concensus on that? And is there a good way to do that?
Also, what is a decent midrange speaker system for this TV? This is my basement TV, so I'm not using a receiver. I guess I could buy a second one, but it seems like there are decent options these days for wireless.

I tried to find on Best Buy website but if I order and set the delivery date for a month from now, can I cancel for a full refund if it isn't ever delivered?

The only good reason I can think off for waiting for a 2024 TV right now is if you are going 83in or higher. The G4 83in will have MLA which right now 83in don't. Aside from that for the 77in the only thing you will get is AI image processing which you could technically could work around by adding a 3rd party box to the 2023 TVs that do the same later.

Did you get the other codes and cash backs discounts? I was able to get it down to $1682?
