I just had a Hisense U8K delivered yesterday and am contemplating purchasing this and returning the Hisense. My family likes to leave those asmr videos playing on the screen all day though so I'm worried about burn in with this being the main TV.
I've owned a few OLEDs since they came out. These days with the pixel refresh technology built in to OLEDs and the use of screensavers, unless you watch a dozen hours of static content like CNN per day which has the same red bar with the scrolling news at the bottom you have nothing to worry about. I own both the S90C and I grabbed this S89C at this deal and I can tell you that they are both quantum Dot OLED and except for a plate that covers the feet, I see or hear no difference between the two of them. QD OLED is incredible and surpasses even the best mini LED TVs. I highly recommended this deal.

I get some major Audio stuttering when I stream anything on this tv. I've had this happen with 2 models and it's an issue on tizen TVs apparently. Anyone else getting this? Super annoying

This or LG B3 for $100 more? https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-7...Id=6535931

Edit: rtings comparison for the fellow curious folk https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...shold=0.10
I wouldn't compare this with B (budget) series. B has lower nits and struggles on hdr content, not as bright as Samsung. This tv competes with C3 and still wins. I got one few months ago, best tv ever. (Rtings are biased, don't solely rely on them, I'm sure they get paid by manufacturers for indirect advertising. Ex: Hisense has crappy software (personal experience, returned), but according to rtings they are high scored).

Great find, OP. I bought a perfect, open box s95c. Love everything about it, except I can't get the NFL app on Tizen. Come on, Samsung, fix it already!

Ended up pulling the trigger on this as well - thanks to everyone's feedback!
For those that don't like the Samsung software, the Nvidia Shield is on sale for $179.

I have had mine for a couple of years and the best thing I can say about it is IT JUST WORKS!
You can stream almost anything. Highly recommended!

How are the speakers on this thing? Not looking for amazing sound. Would a budget 2.1 soundbar be an upgrade or I may as well stick with the TV speakers?

They're the same tv, except for a little difference with the stand.

The only thing stopping me is dolby vision. I Samsung would jump on board
Well, it is understandable that Samsung tries to push their own cheaper version, ie HDR10+. I read somewhere that Google was working also on a open source and license free version of Dolby Vision too. After all one of the reasons these TVs can drop so much in price compared to LG and Sony is because Samsung dropping Dolby Licensing fees.

I bought an LG B3 for the same price from Costco in November and have been disappointed in its brightness and ability to handle reflections in the room, I'm seriously debating returning it and buying this since this panel gets about twice as bright. However the B3 from Costco came with a 5 year warranty… Can anyone comment on how this tv handles reflections? And whether I will regret not having the 5-year warranty?
Costco includes 5years of warranty for the S90C too and in some areas they have it for $2000. Very YMMV but thought I would mention it. Maybe give you Costco a phone call and ask if they have them in stock and for how much they are selling it.

Just a quick follow up. I got over $100 bucks back in points using my perks at work login to go to Samsungs site where I purchased the S90C. Wasn't expecting anything there really. This is a heads up for anyone with Samsung EPP using perks at work.

I have the 77 inch s90c and I love it. It's great for gaming, it's great for movies, it's just great. The worst thing about this TV is that it makes my other tvs look like shit.
