The mid-torque is much better. Plenty of power and not so heavy to be an issue.
I have both, mechanic work, and I use the mid-torque 95% of the time. high torque is mostly for crank bolts and rusty suspension work.
Yea but most will not use it as it slows the rpms down and "feels" weaker and they still may apply to much. And does not change the much larger size/weight issue.
Its a great gun but not a everyday one. It collects dust most of the time in my tool box. But pays for itself when I need it.

My 2 cents
I would still feel safer using this ridgid or my m18 mid torque, as they both have auto stop feature when the bolt/lugs are loose or somewhat tight enough to finish with a torque wrench. Unlike the high torque m18 does not have this feature.

Edit: My bad, I thought you were implying this wrench does not have auto stop features.

I get that people just slam stuff back on but geez some people need to use a tool for it's purpose and use proper tools.
