This is the CHEAPEST I'VE SEEN IT IN YEARS.

Don't wait if you're looking to get it. even if you have to wait a while to get it installed.its still a great deal
Good deal. No need to pay subs.
My brother bought the LTE version and he says it's worth the extra money. I believe its a $6 a month subscription fee.
I have this model in a 2010 Honda Accord and it's excellent. I just found my receipt and I paid $249.99 back in 2021.

Had mine installed today, the installer charged me an additional $129.99 for install and said there is no free install as displayed on Best buy.com

Had mine installed today. Worried about a cancellation but everything was waiting for me at the store. Installation was quick and installer also set up my factory fob to start car, a nice bonus.

Another poster mentioned there was an install charge of $129.99. Did you end up being charged extra?

Did the installer mount the Compustar antenna somewhere on the windshield , or hide it under the dash for a more stealth install?

Also on the Keyfob, did you get both OEM
Key fobs programmed? Which sequence? Lock, Lock, Lock (this sequence to my understanding will have the car horn make a sound) or did you go with Lock, Unlock, Lock (no horn sound).

Nice. Thanks for replying back.Lock, unlock, lock is what I'm leaning towards. Also I know if people opt to self install, they will need to buy the idatastart Weblink updater (ASD to USB) adapter to flash the appropriate firmware to the module.

I had this installed, but I can't start my car without the original key in, is that normal? Like the key fob has to be in the car for me to start it. The main reason I got this is it was a similar price to getting new key fobs for the rest of the family, as I needed two more. Does this not solve my problem?

This is just the remote starter. You still need your original car fob to start the car

Got it installed on my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica on Monday. 2 hours from start to finish, works well.

Compustar key fob will lock, unlock, operate the liftgate, and remote start. Main advantage is the range and 2 way confirmation.

OEM key fobs will also remote start by pressing LOCK 3x. Still necessary to recognize the key in car before driving off.

I had my appointment today. I opened package at the store. The key fobs were missing and also the plastic packaging the key fobs sit in were also missing. Some how the key fobs went missing.
Installer would have installed another one today. However with one key fob. That's all he had in stock. I declined and he did put in a order for another one. New install date on 3/16.

The price was right but the customer service sucks. I chose the free T-harness install. But instead they bundle a hardwire kit when I chose for the T-harness. The assigned installer said he couldn't install the unit via hardwire (he probably didn't want to deal with that shit) offered a Viper unit with a t-kit but only has 1 one way remote with less range. I said no thanks. Was sent around to another store and Tried to return/exchange the hard wire kit for the T-harness and they couldn't do the return. But they were cool with wanting to charge me 100 bux for the kit. So, I have to source the harness from ebay for about 35 bux, plus another 40 for the usb programming cable since I'm going to do this shit myself (the cable will come in handy when I add the security kit later on) Best Buy sucked hard on this.

The $40 Weblink programming adapter is worth it, as it will allow you to apply future firmware updates. Also you can program the unlock sequence on your OEM fob.

I got the kit installed myself and even depin/repin the t harness for my vehicle. The programming cable sux and is very flimsy. Ive found it to be the cause of many failures detecting my unit unless I hold the cable a certain way.
