For me, homedepot.com is showing regular price of $699.00 and sale price of $399.00. However, the store I purchased it at had 6 of these with yellow clearance tags of $199.00.
Also if you are eligible for the 10% military discount, even though clearanced, it will also apply and drop it down to $179.10.
Brickseek [brickseek.com] shows me it is clearanced out at other locations as well.

I just tried out the mower. I can't test in high thick grass right now. Mostly sparse clover and wild flowers up high. I have some oak leaves on the ground though and I filled up the bag twice packed tight with leaves. I stlll have charge on those 2 batteries and it picked up leaves great.
I'm 59 with a bad back, arthritis, and a handicapped tag.and the mower rolled easy for me.

So true
It uses 2 18v batteries, so it's 36 volts. The benefit is you can also use them in your drill, or whatever other 18v tools you have.

Just buy the pro extreme membership, it is only $29.99 a month
I was a battery mower skeptic. Bought a clearance Toro 60v because it was cheaper than a gas mower (found on SD, of course). The Toro leaves a fantastic cut, and I'm picky about my yard. So no, "poor cut" is not "endemic with all the battery mowers!!!"
I took this out to a field I have where I could test it better.
Imo it cuts smooth and doesn't miss stuff. Mower itself including shaft are good.
Negatives: Blade is weak and small batteries do not last long enough but at least they give you 2 sets. I hit a small stump and bent the blade. I put it in a table vice and straightened it. There are a lot of mole hill mounds in the field and if I charged through them it would bend the blade and need to be straightened again.
I was cutting grass after a light rain. I wanted to see how well it could handle up. If you have plenty extra batteries charged and standing by or you want to take frequent breaks and your yard isn't real big then you will probably do fine. If you have dirt mounds from moles or something, cut at higher level or go carefully.
