New wording for Metro unlock policy:

Should obviously only apply to purchases made after they changed the rules.
But might have to fight for that...

I tried this three time to order and on the last page it says lets verify your identity but no questions or no popup appears. I even allowed any popup on the site, no vpn extensions. anyone got tips to get through this? it times out after two min and then i cannot place an order for next 12 hours or so. I tried this three times already.

Ok. Do they work with the Metro iphones and will using them affect the 6 month unlock wait time ?

My port in from Numberbarn finally fully completed...the phone number worked a day after I activated, but text finally started working today, without me calling in, so almost 2 weeks. I guess I'll port back out to Numberbarn....where do I find the port out pin at Metro...or do I have to call?

Log into your account online, go tp profile to request and get it right away, no need to call, but the pin seems will expire after a certain days.

Nevermind I have to wait 24 hours in order for everything to work after the successful port-out and the GV number disappeared from the Google account.

METRO phones can NOT be unlocked with these online sites. I tried it on a Google Pixel 6a deal from last year.

No, once you receive the items, you can go to the metro website and go to the Help menu and click on "Order tracking & activation", then fill out the requested information. I did this 7 times and never had any problems.

FYI about activation: If you want to complete the porting process in 30 minutes, activate online with the SIM inside the phone and then call the porting department. They will complete the porting process in 10 minutes, so you don't have to wait for days. You will see your GV number disappear from the GV account.
