I can see your point. But what about being able to charge a Dewalt battery using any usb charger? Including in your car. That's where I see some value here.

That's a 18w max charger. You can't charge a laptop with that. This outputs at 100w
I wish it had a AC outlet (like a 150watt inverter or something) but it would be more expensive and bulkier.
If people don't already have a few+ batteries already this isn't a good deal for them.
