This is a no-brainer deal for anyone wanting to get an Atmos system. I got this last year and I have never gone above volume 20 in my apartment 🤣...try top gun maverick with it and you'll see that the hype is not exaggerated.

Please, I would love for you to piece together a receiver, wire, sub, and center, center left right, right left, rear left right, height left and right.. all for 730 or less.
I think a lot of people would love to see what you come up with!
Yeah, i thought about going the route of piecing together something, but there is no way to get it under $700. The ease of it all being wireless as well is hard to beat.

Got this on the last sale and love it. Masters of air has some awesome moments with the planes flying overhead

yeah and the 1990s feel of wires everywhere just makes receivers outdated. unfortunately until everyone makes wifi speakers like sonos we will have to just do with soundbars!

Bummer that the bar is so damn wide at almost 50 inches. They're stretching the whole point of a sound bar in comparison to a proper speaker system with authentic separation. And they just launched a 35-inch wide model but it's severely handicapped with almost none of these features. Samsung needs to find a happy medium.
It's the same width as a 55" tv. If you can fit one of those on your stand or wall, you can fit one of these.

I keep hearing stories how these speakers wifi keeps getting disconnected especially with Eero mesh router, can anyone share their experiences regarding this issue? TIA
I have a 910c and bought the 9500s surround speakers to go with it. Not once have I had to reconnect them in over 8 months of owning the system. I have an Orbi Pro mesh system with three nodes in a house with plaster and wire lathe walls.

[quote="MemorableHose1597;169889769"]agreed. Pictures attached, can people suggest if it's worth me returning these 9500's or running them? I have power on both left and right of the speaker areas, and I have the room to mount them. the couch middle between her and me is centered to the tv as well. Looking at my room, thinking of this set up. (pics) green arrows dictate the direction of speaker point. /quote]

First, use the 9500s. Second, I would go with the Amazon wall-mount. It'll give you more clearance from the wall. The Sanus mount is too shallow.Third, your blue boxes are too close the listening position. You should mount one 9500 speaker on the left wall (between fireplace and rear wall), pointed directly at the couch, and mount the other on the right side of the couch (by the widow, on the back-wall), pointed toward the couch. That will give you the best surround sound.

pointed at couch, you mean, the speakers will be facing each other in straight line? I can do that. that would probably be equal distance as well. let me get tape measure and get measurements both walls to both seat positions

Looking at my room, thinking of this set up. (pics) green arrows dictate the direction of speaker point. also, I can reduce the power to them via smart things app, so instead of full blast, I can make them like 20% due to being closer.

I am replacing the denon 2.1 sound bar photo with the Samsung q900c on the tv stand. (btw the little denon C210's from Costco for 99 are fricken great) I got 2 of them, and the voice options and such, for bedrooms are great, actually the sound bar is fricken fantastic, but for my living rooms I wanted real upgrades since I went down this rabbit hole and saw this deal. EPP

dont get me wrong, im perfectly content with idea of just using the 900c sound bar. its just I did get these speakers open box for 74 bucks before tax. the 9500s so id like to utilize them if would make my experience better for shows/games.

thinking these mounts. tho pricy says 30 pounds, reason I want strong ones is because I got these two turd cats that I can see climbing on the speakers eventually

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...J2Y9&psc=1

or maybe these, even tho not rated for 30 pounds. look nice

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sanu...Id=6530434

edit I found this picture. I dont know if its accurate, but wouldn't my set up mimic this?
I bought the 9500s for my 910c soundbar last July. I really like them and don't regret spending the extra $ over the 9000s.

As for your placement, you want separation. You don't need them right in your ears. They have enough power that they could easily be placed in the corners of your room.

Yes, that's right. BTW, I meant the Amazon mounts. The Sanus mounts are too shallow to allow the speakers to point inwards at 90°.
Also, I have the exact same setup - 900C and 9500 surrounds. I love it.

replying both same time. I just measured, from the other wall, its 12.5 feet to my seat position from that wall, and from her side, it's 7.5 feet from that wall. if I mount a speaker on both walls, will it matter that one speaker is 5 feet further than the other?

I have the sanus mounts ready for pick up 29.99 and its a good price, looked nice. good thing is 14 day return period.

a good thing is I currently have speaker stands, so I can place these speakers in both spots, near the walls where I had in mind, and on the wall areas and do comparison test to test all the sound options and any other ideas. but fortunately I do have outlets all around my basement, in each spot as well so power supply isn't an issue, no extension needed anywhere

my 900c hasn't even shipped yet, its been like 2-3 days

This system cannot adjust for different speaker distances, and it will affect your sound. The stands will work best, but you can also mount one speaker on the wall by the window to make sure it is the same distance as the one on the closer wall.

gotcha. I can do that too. I wonder how I can mount it though to do a 90* turn from mount. do any of you guys know a mount that I can use, to where it can turn directly sideways from the wall towards me? I can make both 7.5 feet perfectly if so. hell, I won't even need a mount for the side by fireplace, it can just on the shelf thats built into the wall for testing anyway, I could mount it lower than that on the wall below it.

Edit I'm stupid. I have stands, I can just put one beside her side of couch, and one from me same distance out my side

would this be alright though? because technically there's still a bit of distance between each of us to the corresponding opposing speaker. its not like perfectly aimed to between us as if they was behind us in aimed at the center of us

this is where I spend most of my time gaming/watching tv. she stays upstairs. this is our current test situation as I mentioned earlier, it was supposed to mimic the idea of wall mounting them downstairs I also turned them down from the standard levels to like 60% to adjust to being closet . it still sounds good to me

But looking for optimal, and if the stands are actually better at the opposing face to face to each other, and I dont have to make more holes in wall. win win.

but the 800c is perfect without rears for the upstairs and is enjoying it.

Everyone who got the 990c, check your firmware version! The latest is 1004 which should have fixed the connectivity issues experienced by some. If the Smart Things App doesn't pull this update off the server, just download it and update using the USB port on the bar.
