Model: Samsung WF45B6300A / WF45B6300AW (the W on the end stands for White)
Hi all, found this deal while shopping for a new washer. Samsung has the white color variant of this 4.5 cu. ft. front load smart washer listed for $699 (basically matching other retailers right now). With a few steps and the EDU/EPP program, you can get it
down to $487.75 if you have an old washer to trade in:
- Wait until past 8:30 PM ET / 5:30 PM PST, because a Samsung support agent told me the trade-in offer is only active after 5:30 PM [EDIT: You may not need to wait til after this time - people are saying they're able to see the trade-in offer at any time of day.]
- Follow the link and log in to samsung using your EDU/EPP account
- The price displayed on the page will change to $524.25 for the EDU/EPP discount.
- In the added services section, select the 2 Years of Samsung Care+ coverage for $1 making your new total $525.25
- Select NO professional installation
- There should be a box offering you a trade-in discount. From what I can tell, all brand options in this menu get you a $50 discount. If you do a trade in, the haul-away service is automatically selected for you which costs you $15, so the net discount for the trade-in is $35.
- The page may display a weird/unexpected total to you like it did to me, like $502.25 or something like that. Just add the item to cart and proceed to cart and it should finally show $487.25 for the machine, 2 years of Samsung Care+ coverage, and a trade-in that includes haul-away of your old machine. Taxes are extra and delivery is free.
I know samsung washers don't get
the best reviews but I happen to need a new washer right now and this is such a low price that even if it only lasts me 2-5 years, it's worth it, plus the 2 years of coverage make me worry a lot less. You can also attempt to make this a slicker deal with a referral code discount (haven't confirmed if one can be used with this offer).
QA Note: Trade-In Discount is active now

I received my washer and so far so good on that. I also received the email that said "Welcome to Samsung Care+" and linked me to a PDF that summarized my plan coverage benefits.
The PDF said the plan begins 4/05/2025 which is correct - the Care+ plan begins after the initial 1-year manufacturer warranty. However it also said the coverage ends 04/04/2026 which seemed to be wrong since it's a 2-year plan.
I chatted with support and they told me I will receive another email for a new year of coverage after the first year of Care+ coverage expires. Seems a bit weird and dubious to say their system will remember to email me with a new year of coverage two years from now (after the initial 1-year manufacturer warranty and the first year of Care+ coverage) so I saved the chat transcript and they gave me a ticket ID to be sure, but hopefully this clarifies things for anyone who might be coming back to this thread.
