I've owned this and the cold/no power CL99 version for a while. Pros on this is it's definitely an upgrade from the CL99 but may be overkill for some. If anyone is new to this space, I strongly recommend trying the CL99 for <$100 first. If you are not new, this is an incredible value and upgrade but just be aware this will need TLC in a year or 2 (Brondell and Costco are both amazing with warranty. I've had little things bust and they both have replaced my seat and parts for free).
People who don't like walking around all day with a stanky itchy bung hole and skid marks in their underwear. Apparently you are ok with that.Big Grin
Sounds like someone has a dirty butt. Do you also clean your dishes with paper towels?

How much do you think you spend on toilet paper in a year? Bidets come out cheaper in the long run and are objectively better at the job.

So FYI for those wiring up for these.

These are probably pretty high watts when they're running. To heat the water up these frequently use 1500W (depending on model). You can wire in from an existing circuit in the house but you're probably better off giving them their own circuit.

I wired in from the bathroom circuit at first and my LED lights would all flicker every time the water heater in the bidet came on.

I've found the air dryers in these things are pretty useless too. They don't really dry (At least not in the model I have, which is not this model).

Often these electric ones part of the seat is taken up by technology, your hole to poop in is going to be shrunk. If you're a bigger person this might not be good.

Personally, I wish I never upgraded from the old non-electric bidet I had. The cold water isn't that bad... I've been tempted to toss mine and go back. $10 on Meh / Sidedeal.com recently for the non-electric kind... I wouldn't do electric again, I'd just stick with the simple ones that hook up to cold water.

Thank you! we built our home 4 years ago but wasn't think of Bidets at that time. Wish I had thought of it. would have been super simple. Unfortunately, my basement is finished so this won't be easy.
You can check nextdoor to get a rough idea of what people are paying in your area. Everyone's install is different, buy this will give you a ballpark. I'm seeing people paying $1000+ for a new outlet run from a panel. If you have an outlet on the otherside of the wall or a close switch you may get lucky

This seat didn't last for me. In less than 6 months, both hinges broke, and the side buttons on the remote broke. The swash 1000 is much better made (my 1000 hasnt had any issues in 4 years).

Don't get Brondell. Mine stopped working after 2 years. My cousin have a toto brand said it's been going strong 3 years now
I had two Brondell washlets in a row, and they weren't as good as the Toto C5 we have now. But one tip for Brondell users I learned after our first one died prematurely: Get the filter especially made for Brondell washlets, especially if your water is on the hard side. It'll make your unit last many years instead of just one or two.

Japan spoiled me with Toto.. but this looks like a good starter especially with a dryer feature. Definitely lifestyle changing experience.

Are there any that have a lock button? I have a very curious two year old that likes buttons and knobs.

Just installed mine, paired the remote, and read the manual. Tested to press and hold the Deodorize button for 3 sec, and that power off the bidet, put the remote high enough so my 3 year old cannot reach it.

The brondell swash (non thinline) is one of only about 3 models on the market with spray options in addition to stream, which is vastly superior. This one is smaller but still has just a stream option.
which is the model you're referring to? Is it the cs1000 or the cl1700? We've had a biobidet for a number of years that's worked really well but the seat is starting to crack

I was considering Toto for the added durability and the extra function of automatic bowl rinse, before each use.
However with this price, the comparable Toto would be 3 times the price, so jumped in!

This guy gets it. Its wild how many people are walking around with dried turd in their bung hole.

Taking a shi# is something we do everyday. Treat yourself. Once you use one of these, you'll never go back. I've bought several Brondell Swash CS1000 as house warming gifts(They were on sale for $300 I believe). Years later, people still tell me its the best gift/thing they've ever received.
