This sux for the consumer because you're forced into buying a certain product. This Samsung watch could be a great watch but you'll never know if you're an Apple user. In my case I carry both an Apple and Samsung phone because of iMessage.

switched to Scan watch and it gave me 20-30 days as advertised

I did the test when I first got the Band 7.. now almost a year in, it's probably not gonna hold up that long anymore, and I haven't tried to find out.
It works in the US. Firmware update works. I don't see any limitations.
Steps and workouts are having syncing issues (in other regions too) but you can workaround it by going to Settings > Apps > Galaxy Fit3 plug in and remove location permission.

I had Fit 2 Pro for a few years and loved it for all of its functions and curved profile, but the short battery live was really annoying. With workout detection and raise wrist screen activation off I can get about 30 hrs initially and went down to around 20 after a couple of years.
Came across Amazfit Band 7 mid-2023 with its 18 day battery life so had to give it a try, and I was absolutely blown away. Workout detection is the only thing I turned off and I ran it for 2 weeks straight and it still had 10% power. Not having to charge the watch every day is total game changer.
Now I am looking at this Fit 3 and very much unimpressed. It looks almost identical to Band 7 with screen being 0.13" larger with actually less battery life than Band 7. Function wise there's nothing impressive either and the Band 7 actually does more with build-in Alexa and O2 monitoring.
I guess I am sticking to the Band 7.
What phone do you use the amazfit with? looking for something that can do accurate weather widget
Plus my fitbit now has issues with charging, I think the back plate of the watch is getting rust from sweat. Charges randomly if I ziggle else not and it has all sorts of features when only things I look at are steps and watch.
Edit: I looked it up, it's not sold in the US
Not sure but I bought one and it works flawless with my s22
