Just a quick FYI. That 6 piece set will just fit in an GMC Acadia if you don't take anyone to the store with you. It's a tight fit, but it can be done. I had read the issues some had with home delivery so I just had my set delivered to the store. Very happy with what I got.
No matter how inexpensive the unit is, I would never buy one that is 24 gauge. That is way too thin.
You get monthly 10% coupons? Have had the card for about 3 months and haven't gotten any coupons

I must have gotten lucky last year with 2 of them. There was no damage at all. They were delivered via ups if I remember correctly.
One piece of advice... buy a battery screwdriver to put these together. They come packed flat and there must have been over a hundred nuts and bolts to put them together. It took me about 3 hours to put 2 together.
They are fine for average homeowner stuff. I also bought 2 of the ones with drawers, which came fully assembled.
Anyone know if (or when) when Home Depot offers 12 or 18 month 0% financing any more? They used to offer this occasionally but I never see it, or I've missed it
I've gotten this offer like 3 times already in the past month, one of them being yesterday in my email...I think they also target those who haven't uses their card for a while.
Just my personal experience with these and Home Depot...
I have ordered 3 of these in the past from Home Depot. It doesn't matter if you ship to store or ship to home - there is a very high probability that these will arrive damaged (and not a little damaged.) I had a set delivered to the house (FedEx) and it was dented, bent, etc to the point that I just took it back to a store. I ordered again to have it shipped to the store (maybe was just FedEx). This time the orders went to the store, both boxes (same item) were damaged not ONLY in handling to the store with bent corners - but INSIDE the packed areas - the panels were damaged (deep gouges in the steel on the insides). This means, that when these were packed and going through QA the damage was already done and the QA process just allowed these damaged goods to get packed anyway and shipped.
Long story short, if you're going to order these (I can't recommend not to get 24g enough but...), have them shipped to the store so that when you open and the damage is enough that you dont want them that you will not have to put it all in your vehicle and drag it up to the store to return it!
As always, YMMV
Ship to store is often just FedEx taking it to the store instead of your house. Saves you from having to return them yourself but doesn't actually reduce the likelihood of them coming damaged.

yep! I was most surprised that even inside - when it was packed into the boxes at the manufacturer there were damaged parts/panels from handling and PRIOR to packing they STILL packed it and sent to stores (!)
