About this product:
Made with Genuine Polywood lumber, a proprietary material which includes landfill-bound and ocean-bound plastics
Durable, all-weather lumber not prone to splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot
UV protectant and color continuously throughout the HDPE material; requires no painting or waterproofing
Marine-grade quality hardware
Waterfall front and curved back slats for contoured comfort
Cleans easily with soap, water, and a soft bristle brush
Bought one about 2 years ago. Left it outside ever since in rain and direct sun. Just wipe with a wet cloth or spray with a hose and it looks new. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Company also sent a replacement part because the predrilled hole was crooked without giving me any troubles
I have the Costco brand - https://www.costco.com/leisure-li...52232.html . Well built, customer service is great and USA made. Plus the Costco return policy makes it a winner. They also sell matching side tables.

Are these meant for swimming pool? I am looking for front porch.
They can go anywhere you want an Adirondack chair. They're not 'meant' for anywhere in particular except maybe outdoors. I'd probably get a wood one if I really wanted one inside for some reason.
I got the YEFU brand from Amazon 3 years ago. They were way cheaper than the Plywood chairs at the time, and after 3 years they have held up super well. I live on the Texas coast (2 minute walk to the beach) and none of the stainless hardware has shown any signs of rust. Plus, if you look at some of the similar chairs, they have only 1 screw each holding the vertical slates to the horizontal backing. The YEFU chairs have 2.
Polywood stuff is fantastic, but also had great results with HDPE furniture from Amazon. Polystyrene is significantly inferior. Wicker anything is doomed for the landfill in short order.

A 40 year warranty for those is crazy. Even a 20 year on the HD ones is pretty good. If I had lawn furniture last 20 years I'd be pretty satisfied.

OK I just looked at reviews and there are quite a few complaining about the hardware and predrilled holes not lining up. Was your experience the same?
this brand in particular, or adirondack chairs in general?
i like adirondack chairs. not for sleeping, but for sitting around reading or around a campfire. the ones with the curved back and seat are 100x better than the ones with a straight back/seat.

I got 4 of the Modern Adirondack chairs on sale for $150 each, and was pleased. Two of the metal branding tags fell off, and the manufacturer shipped me replacements with adhesive via Fedex. I didn't have any issues with holes / hardware. Very pleased.

In store these are going for 115. Saw them yesterday in the bay area

No issues with the predrilled holes. They did short me two screws. I sent them an email and received screws via FedEx in two days. It was very easy to put together.
Ordered 2 and they arrived same day. Sale looks like its still ongoing if your distribution center has them in stock. Setup was easy, they provide a 4mm allen key but you do need your own 7/16 wrench to hold the nut. Both were setup in ~20 minutes.
Never had polywood before, however the chairs seem very sturdy (the material is thick) and the chair was comfortable to sit in.
