This is a pretty rad bike, 170 travel isn't going to be fun on the climbs but it scream on the downs!

Good bang for the buck for an Enduro bike.
For those new to mountain biking, this is a bit longer suspension travel than a regular trail bike, and is focused more on going downhill than uphill, but not to the extent of a dedicated downhill bike. It's the in between of a trail bike and downhill bike. This would be good for more aggressive riding, rougher and bigger features and such.

The SX drivetrain isn't the best, but is usable. The fork and shock are pretty decent.

Is GT making good bikes again? I know they lost their way in the 2000's, but this looks like a quality bike. Not super high end, but definitely more than competent than my own skillset for enduro riding and the bike park.

Almost bought this the last time it was on here, defintely a solid deal. But seeing all the bicycle industry troubles I waited and got the carbon Intense 951 from Costco for $2,000. I thought they would just continue that price until sold out, but it's now back up to $2,999. Just saying if you have patience it might go back on sale soon. Hard to beat carbon for 2K...
