850W PSU

Just posting this to placate all of the PSU hardos who complain about PSU's in every prebuilt thread.

Oh yeah, I also think this is a solid deal.

I also got an extra $74.25 discount via the students & teachers discount. The final price w/o tax for me was $1,410.75.

Earlier this year I got a 13700F and 4070, 16 meg ram for the smaller version of this for 1400. This is a WAY better deal.

Do you know if it is a proprietary PSU? Is it gold or platinum? Thanks!
Exactly, it's much more about the quality of the power supply than the number.
A 750 watt high quality power supply is better than an 850 or even 1000 watt crappy one.

Great deal. My impatient friend just spent much more than this building a computer with a 7800x3d but only a 4070 super so I think this is probably overall better than his and he spent like 1800 dollars all in (brand loyalty is stupid)
Your friend somehow paid a premium: arbitrarily averages 4070 ti super is $800 alone, psu 100, ssd 75, cooler 50, case 75, os 20-200 (get that grey market key :p), ram 100, mobo 200, cpu 200 -> ~$1600

Pretty decent deal. I honestly prefer building it yourself to spec your own components and what you want, and if you want to wait for sales you can definitely save a few hundred

If you can't see the offer for new customers, open one tab in incognito mode or use another browser. A small window will pop up to subscribe to lenovo. Enter your email, after you enter it, it will show a coupon code on the top of the lenovo webpage. The small window should say somwthing like "Enter your email to unlock +100$…." In this case it will be 50$ off for this desktop
I was trying for like 20 minutes, no luck with the pop up! However, I did enter my email in the "Enter to receive valuable updates" box in bottom left hand corner & it did offer me coupon there. Still waiting...been like 20 minutes? Did it take long for you? I tried 3 emails LOL

Thank you so much for your help & taking the time to respond. It is much appreciated!!

On the fence for my son. He has an okay system now but definitely needs an upgrade. We could potentially wait until October if prices will drop then. Not needed ASAP. Do PCs usually have a period of great deals like this?

With the 850w psu and pcie4 tlc ssd, I think you would have a hard time building this yourself for $1435 even with a few individual deals. All of the items at full price I don't think you could do it.

Not to mention xbox ultimate is another 60$. If you already are paying for game pass thats a free 3 months no matter what plan you're on.

No problem! They don't send an email, I think the coupon shows up as soon as you introduce your email. I am talking about the lenovo subscribe.

I waited for the email too, but then I noticed at the top of the page of the lenovo site, there was the coupon code, hiding in plain sight. I clicked on that and it added the $50 coupon.

I'm looking at the Lenovo site and don't see it. Is it on a specific product page?

This one has a better GPU but the processor of the Costco one (14700F) is around 25%~30% better. Costco has an extra 1Tb. It depends what you are going to do with the PC. Both computers are great. I will reuse a 1Tb nvme that I have so I don't need those 2Tb of the Costco.

I just finished building a sffpc with similar specs for about $1300. (7700x, 6800xt) This has a better gpu though and overall seems like a pretty good deal especially since you save on build time and headaches.
Reasonable post, with typical brain-dead SD'ers downvoting...Tuch grass, lol
