I say this since, you can have a fine overclock in applications that stress the card, but then for some reason certain games just don't like the overclock. I've just learned to have mine at the lowest voltage it can handle, a slight overclock and then if theres a random game, like 1/10 needs more juice, I just add 50 volts, solved. Takes 2 seconds in the amd tool. Also every driver update resets your OC anyways and new values need to be tested and adjusted, so just don't stress test it, lol, waste of hours.

Yes this is the best choice for the price. At 340 it's a steal. You will be happy with this one. Or you can spend an extra 40% for maybe 10% or so better performance. It's only a little behind the 7800 xt
Yes do that to the less greedy company, Nvidia people need to hold off for the next five years. Amd just might stop producing GPU's if it gets any worse, then again maybe Nvidia will be broken up due to having a monopoly when they fall, seeing as Intel will be hanging their hats soon.
Check ebay. You can probably sell your current card for far more than newegg will offer
