Yeah I got the 128gb model Pixel 7 Pro 2 black Friday ago for about this price by buying the iPhone 11 for $200 and trading it in for $525 credit toward the Pixel at Best Buy.

Definitely should be $300 by now to reach the "Slickdeal" threshold.

It's been a solid phone though, and the multitasking (12GB) kicks the crap out of my partners iPhone 14 Pro Max (6GB).

I've got pixel 8 pro from costco for 300 plus tax with 500 dollars off for trading in s9 which I bought from ebay for 70 dollars. Plus received 100 dollar costco shop card and 35 dollars fee waived for upgrading a line. Now, thats a deal.

Apples to Oranges. If you are ok being a slave to whatever carrier or plan Costco locks you into for however long, go for it. That is subsiding the price of the phone, probably by a minimum of $200 opportunity cost. This is a great deal if you want a new phone with no additional commitment. Love my Pixel 7 Pro. No issues other than cracking the screen on a hike last year. Liked it so much I replaced it with a new one. Best budget flagship out there.

I think the QC is bad on Pixels though. I was a 6a user for a short bit and had all kinds of issues with the GPS, wifi, and call connectivity. Others around that time reported no issues. Before that, I had a 3XL and that was one of the best phones I ever owned. I have a pixel 8 now and whole I have run into some glitches here and there, it's nowhere near as bad as the 6a was.
