Great deal consider it has a thermostat, remote, and it's Lasko brand which is usually pricier.
Lasko and Vornado are generally the better heaters to buy. They are UL certified meaning they are tested to a higher standard with certification than many of the no name Chinese heaters off of Amazon. Less of a risk of your home burning down. I've bought many Lasko heaters over the years for our business and home from Sam's, Costco, Walmart, have yet to have one fail on me.
Pro tip: if you are ok with open box Amazon warehouse deals has some expensive Vornado models like velocity 5 and the metal one for $20-30 as well.

I am buying this heater because my previous Lasko heater stopped worked. My previous Lasko heater has worked fine for about 10 years, but the display no longer works.
That's regular marketing B$. They all are UL certified, made in China and basically the same. Would be illegal to sell them otherwise in US.
Not true. Amazon is full of nonUL certified products if you aren't careful. Especially noticed it when shopping for wall chargers, EV car charger, hair dryers, space heaters. Some sellers are getting sneaky and saying "made to UL standards" but have no formal certification for the US market. I personally wouldn't gamble ever using a non-UL heater or hairdryer but that's just me
Anything you buy at a big box store usually has the rating is what I've noticed. Even the cheapest heater that is the store brand from Walmart or Target. Not the same for Amazon.

Because this so-called 'certification' costs money, and the snaky certification salesmen charge plenty. All sellable devices adhere to some sort of government imposed safety regulations ('certifications'), otherwise what are we paying our taxes for? There's no data showing that so-called UL-certification provide any more of safety protection.
Amazing deal. Repped. Ordered two for less than $22. Arrived today. Brand new never used. Really good price and service. UPS delivered two in a beefy box well protected. Everything inside was factory sealed except the heater itself had been wrapped in additional plastic probably for protection. The display still had scratch protection film installed. It was absolutely new in every respect.
Anybody who received theirs and tried it: Does it have a burnt plastic smell when heating? I bought a couple of the small lasko towers that look very similar from target this past winter, and they're barely usable because of the smell. Thanks!

PayPal and disputes work fine. But I'd buy from Secondipity again as I used them previously.
