A little bit more about the Bluetooth app for this cup...
You'll get notifications when you tell it not to give you notifications, it will forget about the cup and tell you that the cup is not connected even though all you did was walk 20 ft away. You can reset the app, drop the stored data, etc. And you will do this every day, day after day, week after week, and you will never be able to control the temperature or anything related to the cup. Then, one day, it'll start working out of nowhere and for weeks on end. Then, one day when you walk out of the room with the cup or walk away with your phone leaving the cup behind, and you'll go through this week after week after week. They do not consider this a defect, they will blame your phone for not being able to support the Bluetooth app they use. I've used no less than a half a dozen phones with all of them acting exactly the same way. I liked this cup. I wanted to like it even more, but I couldn't. I threw everything in the garbage after that first year of trying month after month. Maybe you'll have a different experience, and I really hope that you do.

It's too small to drink for hours. My coffee wouldn't last 10 mins.
With that said, I have two of these - one for work that was a gift, and one I bought for home after enjoying the first one so much. Having a drink stay at my preferred temperature for literally hours when staying on the coaster is a luxury I never thought I'd care about, but here we are.
But this one doesn't seem to be Chinese developed app.
Hand wash, NEVER use anything other than a rubber coated spoon to stir coffee. I have had mine over a year and I use it every day. No issues.
Of note, I got this for 50.00 from target on clearance, thinking I would realize how dumb it is and return it. NOPE. I use it every single day and love it. If my cup somehow broke, I would buy another one for 90.00 in a heartbeat. If you are someone who doesn't always drink their coffee immediately and you HATE luke warm or cold coffee, this is for you.
LOVE IT. And yes, they fixed the app a few months ago. Although it is not required to use the cup.
