It supports only 4 digit passcode! I wish it can support 8

also, this isn't high tech, you can just pull it off the wall and cross the wires.

Uh, no. This is a wireless remote. Stop making stuff up.

I've had one of these 20+ years, still going strong. Occasionally it doesn't work under extreme MN weather -0 temps. Swap battery every 2-3 years.

I prefer the newer one with the flip top cover. This one requires you to enter the code to close the garage door. The other one you can just press the open/close button.

I bought this same one in 2016 for $24 and while it works ok, I have this odd issue where I have to add several zeros after my passcode. It's annoying more than anything, but for being 8 years old, it still works, so decent buy, but for a few bucks more you get the flip top version.

you are correct, I was thinking of the old wired type.
the 10000 code things still stands
anyways, who wants to enter 8 digits when Jason or Freddy is coming for you!

I bought a Genie one and for some reason it is no longer working. I did a reset and cannot get the opener to "learn it"

Was debating if I should get a Meross smart garage opener one instead for ~$30. We hardly open the garage with the keypad....more of a get in the house if someone doesn't have a key situation.

Getting tired of replacing batteries on my August Front door lock.

I'm new to garages so bear with me. I'm assuming "wireless" means it's no different than your car or a handheld remote and it's just sending a signal to the opener. Also I have two separate doors, can this be programmed to open each one? Or will I need two keypads?

I have one the same age and live in western NY and I 1000% agree with this statement.

It is a keypad you mount near the door to punch in a code to open and close the garage. In case you don't have a way to open your garage from your car's system or handheld remote. Or a replacement for both.

Can be used for two doors. Use different codes when opening different doors

Are you sure? In the manual in the FAQ it state that it can only open one garage door.
