he just told you above. There is a OLED version now. This is an older version and its been 999 many times.

Many times? Do you mean once in March? Playing on 14" is weird. External monitor is a choice for a comfortable play. The new CPU is about the same, 4060 is the same. What is your point? I actually bought an open box excellent for under $1000. Currently, it's the best deal, and I need an ultrabook now. Some can wait months to save $100..200.

The new chassis is thinner and lighter so it can be a huge deal for people like me.

And you forgot less performance. For sure, for some people, slightly lighter and slightly thinner is more important than performance. Others value performance more. Ymmv. But the deal is still best available.

If portability is not an issue and performance is valued the most, then there are tons of better options out there...

Absolutely not. This is the only laptop that can give you this kind of performance within this weight range. Having said that ROG Flow X13 offers an even lighter solution but G14 strikes a perfect balance between portability and performance for me personally.

Yup, but the RAM on that is soldered, nenaing you can't upgrade it. So, if anyone who want more ram then this one is for them.

Performance has been fine for me. Running local LLM w/ cuda (llama, seeker and nemo so far) to assist with coding. What more could I ask for?
