This is one of those questions that if you have to ask, then it isn't for you. Use web-search for NAS, NVR, and using a firewall to block devices 100% from the internet. This quickly becomes a rabbit hole of required knowledge that is dependent on your hardware, your knowledge/skills and how much effort you are willing/able to put into the goal.

If you think this will be 50 clicks and work forever, that isn't how this goes. Knowledge about your specific router/firewall, NAS, and just some normal nerdiness are required.

If you want to invest 10 minutes in the setup, expect this to need to be connected to the internet and use their privacy-sucking app.
I'm obviously cheap. I have the required skills to do what is suggested. I already block a number IoT devices from all internet on my home networks, but I've reached the point in life where I'd rather spend the money to get devices that work out of the box in the way I prefer. In general, if they require of Alexa or Google or Apple cloudy services, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. In general, I consider my "down time" to be worth $100/hr. If tweaking something cheaper will require too much time, then I'd rather just avoid the problems from the start.

There are ways around CG-NAT filters. The most common is to have a VPS running a VPN like wireguard as the server, then have your home network connect as a client out to that VPS. Then you can run whatever internet servers you like, just forwarded from that public VPS down your VPN pipe using something like haproxy to forward either straight TCP traffic or HTTP/S traffic, https://theorangeone.net/posts/wi...y-gateway/ explains.

They don't pan smoothly. It'll seem like nothings happening, and then it'll move. Video quality isn't that great. Have been receiving an increase in spam ever since creating an account with this company. They're wonky and the full price is a ripoff. Even discounted they're barely worth it.

Better than my ring cameras, but my light bulb one (the model of this post) had a bad habit of turning itself to face the corner, so I disabled the motion tracking

I bought one the last time they were on sale. Image quality is "okay", white LED is extremely weak, no web interface. On the good side it does support ONVIF (mostly), app is not too bad but I don't use it as I have mine recording on my NVR. As with nearly any Chinese camera do not expect any form of privacy, if you don't like the idea of someone watching or listening to you I would look for something else.
You go to website in the app scan the qr code on the site n it links them. Under settings you'll see pc client.

Wyze is a scam, totally useless without subscription. Even with subscription the amount of false positive smart detections makes it useless

Bought 2 .. free returns.. I think I need 2 and did not see if I could get 3 at the deal price because I got 2 and now thinking 3 .. It would be nice to have some camera over the driveway and or the pool. But if we wanted a remote camera for the bird house or feeder, what do you get?

Theoretically with an NVR and ONVIF you don't need to give this camera Internet access; protect your privacy.

Moved to these once I moved to T-Mobile which doesn't have port forwarding for a server. They work great and also put them on extension cords and balance them in garage, inside rooms to
To watch my dog, etc. The color modes are great and you can turn off the LED status, and no subscription fees.
