All colors available now.

Tempted but really don't want to go back to having to use lightning cables again. USB-C version should be coming later this year (though rumored not to have any significant upgrades over this version)

Aren't these over 3 and a half years old at this point? Apple should have released an updated model by now.

Nice. You still get 10% back in total with any Amazon credit card. That takes care of tax and gets you an extra few percent off. Decided to add AppleCare Plus since I read they basically give you a new pair if anything goes wrong in the 2 year period.

Edit: 10% off looks like it's gone it was a limited time offer

10% back seems to have expired. I saw it listed yesterday but gone now.

Priced matched on AAFES and saved on no tax. That saved almost another $30.

Has anyone tried the Sonos Aces? I am wondering about their audio quality. I've done pretty thorough research on everything else.
I sent my Sonos Ace headphones back. The sound isnt as full and bass heavy as the APM (All I listen to is hip-hop, R&B) and also having an iphone/ipad/apple tv and having the APM switch easily without having to do anything was something I didnt want to give up.

The Sonos Ace however were so much more comfortable, like pillows on your ears. The case is 100x better than APM too. Also, I didnt like using the Sonos App. For these reasons, I stuck with the APM over the Sonos.

Makes sense. Their profit margin on these is probably 85%, which allows you to do things like that.
Which card is that? I have amazon visa and it gives 5% with prime membership

Will have to contact apple direct to be sure the bluetooth can be turned off as the neurotoxicitity of that feature is prohibitive for me as disabled, main symptoms anxiety, insomnia, brain fog, etc. not really "electrohypersensitive" the way we are told to label it, the body does recognize a legit serious toxin but the economy will not for various reasons I do not support personally. BOSE was very friendly and helpful, not dismissive or judgemental when I inquired before purchase so I am hoping Apple is just as considerate and professional to those disabled... all toxins are like a barrel effect, the more the burden one has, then it becomes poisoned... so some may not be at the level of exposures now to be disabled poisoned but it does accumulate. I wish all wellbeing, truly thank you.

BT can be off if you buy the official lightning to 3.5mm cable that has ADC but you should know that dynamic or planar headphones function by electromagnetic fields literally moving the voice coil on the driver. Only electrostatic headphones work without emf but high voltage electric fields.

Was frigntened to read the comment and so glad I did because you were kind and consderate, not dismissive or aggressive thank you so much yes, there is no non-EMF with noise cancellation I just want to avoid the specifici wireless as it for me is the problematic...

But yes, even Dr. Jack Kruse refuses to use headphones because he does not want to damage his neuro melanin, being crucial to the entire biochemical interface thru which we exist as "healthy."

ALl I know is that, I am personally okay if I can have regular noise cancellation, no wireless microwaves/radiofrequency.

But again I am so glad there are people as you who are respectful in response to this widespread issue.. it is not rare, what is rare is the awareness.

I did call Apple before purchase, again, extremely nervous due to past experience of aggression on the very mention of the health issue, and they were a little confounded, "first time" etc. but still professional.

So for anyone else that would like to avoid the nerotoxic effect of wireless bluetooth, which is distinct from regular electrical energy, Apple tech did confirm that the bluetooth will turn off as soon as you have the set plugged in...

Although, I know from experience with the iPad (had to return) that maybe you can't set the phones up without wirelessly connecting first??? I could not set up an iPad with the wired connection I made witht he camera cable because all the apps requred wifi.. it was very strange to me but it is what it is.

the biography on steve gates discloses that he forbid his kids from using his tech!!

Wish everyone well, and thank you all for being kind, respectful and heartfull. This is why we are here, to be alive... not to merely consume products and sell to "make money" so again, thank you.

Assuming they meant Apple just giving you a new pair if you have any issues and Apple Care.
Yes, this. When margins are through the roof, you can afford to have a very generous exchange/replace policy.
