You can order a few on each account, and you can order cheaper plans after the first phone (1st phone plan is 75, after that can do 35 plan). The amount of phones in each account is unclear, people say up to 4. Sometimes they will need a different shipping address, or add a apt or floor # after a few on the same account.
I don't think there are clear rules of how it works.
Also, once they ship the order, you can activate it online, and then place another order (1 phone per order).
Interesting thanks I'm gonna give this a try.

I don't know a lot about Android or Google phones - I'm an iPhone user. My company gives out Samsungs for work phones, this year they made a mistake an ordered the Samsung 23FE instead of the 23 and it's horrible. Would this Pixel 8 hold up for roughly 3 years if I were to jump on this deal and swap the phones? (This is allowed as long as it's an unlocked phone I provide)
That's hard to answer. It's totally dependent on the user.
Pixels are great for general smoothness of the phone, Zero bloatware, fast updates (beta android version access), excellent camera, Google Feature drops.
Pixels are terrible for Gaming and any sort of heavy duty usage and for those who live in low cellular signal areas.

I use Pixels because they are very customizable, there is no bloatware, fast updates and general access to newest Android features. For instance, I have Android 15 Beta 4 installed on all my Pixels and it's been great. To me, the fact that Pixels always get the latest and greatest Android versions is important.

However, I do struggle sometimes with the phone overheating (on really hot days) and losing battery rapidly when the signal is intermittent or low.

As I posted before, I started using a Pixel 4a in June 2021. I like it but after it was updated to Android 12 the daily battery usage (sitting idle) went from 8% to 24%. I tried many things including rolling back to Android 11 but couldn't fix the problem so I sold it and replaced with a Samsung S22.

I used the S22 from Sept 2022 to Feb 2024, then replaced it with an S24. I had an S23 but never used it and sold it as New, Open Box. Based on my experience, Samsung phones hold their values very well. I bought the S22 from Fi for $300 (actually I traded in an iPhone11 for $310, got $300 refunded and got $10 credit). Although I used it for almost 1 1/2 year, I sold it quickly for $320.

I like Samsung phones (at least the S2x models), they're very fast, well made, have great screens with vibrant colors, and are eligible for several Android release upgrades. Some people complain about the Samsung bloatware, but I uninstalled or disabled them. I don't care if they take up storage space because even with all my apps, files, photos, music, etc. they only use 65GB out of 256GB.
Thank you. Makes sense.
I haven't used Samsung for a while. When I used them, several years ago, their bloatware, UI on top of Andoid was very annoying. Samsung's also used to slow down with time. The hardware was great but the software was super lame. I hated having Samsung proprietary apps on top of the Google apps.

I guess Samsung is very different now. Looks like they have improved. I haven't jumped ship as I have been able to get Pixels (P8, P8 Pro, P7 pro and P7) for cheap using trade in deals by trading older iphones.

As the supply of older iPhones is drying up, Pixels might not work out to be as cheap anymore and Samsung may make more sense. Do you know if there are great deals on Samsung?

I've done Fi deals since 2022 for Samsung S22, S23, S24, and Pixel 7. Fi used to give $300-$310 trade-in for iPhone11 in 2022 and 2023. But in 2024, it was about $150 or less, sometimes it wasn't even on the list of accepted models. When the Pixel 8 came out, I was still an active Fi customer and the trade-in value for iPhone11 was pititful, and now down to $50. I don't think they will offer much for trading in an iPhone11 toward a Pixel 9.
Agreed, I get the feeling this is the end of the road for the iphone 11. Either I trade one in for pixel 8 and keep it since I don't think the price gets this low even after the 9 comes out. Or sell the 8 now and use the earnings toward the 9

If you're an existing Fi customer (or sign up with a Fi BYOD SIM and compatible phone about a month before a pre-release date) then Fi usually have very good deals on newly released Samsung models, along with free storage upgrade (128GB-->256GB, 256GB-->512GB, etc). They usually require 4 months of Fi service, which with the minimum Flexible Plan is around $27/month including taxes. That adds 4 x $27 = $108 to the cost. But if you sign up using a referral code from someone (many forum members would be happy to give you one) then you'll get $20 credit after 30 days. I referred a lot of people and got $400 (max amount) in Fi credit, I used that to cover the required months of service.

If you're a member of Special Groups (see attachment), you can get pretty good discounts directly from samsung.com . Otherwise, they pretty much sell at near list prices. I HATE their deceptive ads. They will advertise something like "Get a Samsung S24 Ultra for $299.99", but when you read the fine print you'll find out that the actual price is $1299.99 and you need to trade in a phone that's worth $1000 to get it for $299.99.

I don't understand how people can trade in $1,000 phones for like $400, and act like they're getting a great deal. If I bought a car and next year it was a $40,000 car and somebody wanted to give me like $18,000 for it, I would tell them to flip off. No I'm not giving away my car for $18,000, that I just paid 40,000 for. If you were able to do stuff like this, it means you make way more money than me...

People are paying $75 or even $35 for an iPhone 11, trading it in and paying $50 more, for a $400 plus phone.

Sorry folks, more questions: Can I order the Pixel 8 for delivery, then bring the iPhone 11 into a BB store for the trade-in? I don't trust the mail-in process. How much time do you get between phone order/delivery and trade-in?

Did you pay $1000 for your iPhone 11? How long ago? I bought 4 iPhone 11's from Total Wireless and 2 from Metro, all since March. My average cost for each one, including any required airtime plan was $86. Trading them in for $415 is a heck of a deal.

I went to the store and they said this deal only works online. So I bought it on my phone and then did the trade in at the store. They took care of shipping it. They said it would take 7-10 days for me to get the credit, but it ended up posting the same day.

In the end I paid $142 for the new phone. I was expecting to pay taxes on the pre-discount amount but that's not how it worked out in the end.

The phone is fine. Not a huge upgrade from my Pixel 6a but definitely snappier and the 120Hz screen and wireless charging is nice. Fingerprint sensor is WAY better than the 6a. I just happened to have an old iPhone 11 in my closet that I wasn't planning on selling so for me it was a great deal. Thanks OP!

Think it's worth upgrading from the Pixel 7 Pro? Not a huge fan of curved screen but otherwise happy with the phone.
